What's the plan? Do we fight and hope the Traveler shockwaves a lot of them? Do we try to infiltrate the Mega Pyramid hoping to pull a Tony Stark? Or do we evac the solar system?
I'm starting to question what their end goal is after we've defeated Savathun and Xivu Arath and no one is left to challenge us. Do they move in for the kill frustrated that we wont turn on the Traveler? Or do they admit defeat, turn around, and leave the system?

1 返信from now till Lightfall, there are going to be a lot of times we will struggle to choose between darkness and light. From this expansion and season, we could see we already have NPC debating about stasis, saying that it’s okay to use it or not. Our ghost said that this power is scary but also really nice. Shaxx says it’s okay. Drifter says use anything you want but survive. I believe the traveller is going to abandon us at lightfall like it did it with the fallen.

1 返信We have a super anti climatic end to the story where we give up the light but also get rid of the darkness, balanced.
-
1 返信We nuke the Earth. If they are threatening humanity, then we wipe out humanity so they will stop threatening humanity with their tyranny!
-
3 通の返信The traveler explodes again, vaporizing and repelling the pyramids once more, and starts spawning a shitload of Ghosts before going into a coma.
-
1 返信We’re sending Jeff Goldblum and Will Smith not the pyramid to implant a virus. Then our best crop-duster will finish it off with a suicude run. Easy peazy’

1 返信One word: Lightfall. We are on course for another collapse and a reset to the cycle. What were playing now with be called "The Golden Age" after the Lightfall dlc.
-
1 返信Neither, they'll just sit there. The pyrimids have one objective in mind n that is temptation, n i don't think they would risk gaining our support just to get a punch at the traveler

As to what Humanity will try to do, i don’t know. They’ll try to fight with every ounce of their being, but they won’t win. As for what the Darkness’s end goal is for us, we are meant to become their new Final Blade. After the colossal failure of the Vex, they need a new Blade. There’s a reason they haven’t killed us. They are testing our strength. To see if we’re worthy.

1 返信It turns out it’s just the Doritos marketing team trying to sell their new flavor.

3 通の返信Well... We cross our fingers and hope for the following 1. Fallen, Cabal, Savathune's Hive, and Vex all call their fleets 2. Mara comes back with the power to cut ships in half according to her dream 3. The traveler DOESN'T run away And 4. Pray to whatever god you believe in that the young wolf can get on that mothership

Phoenix, Kell of House Sunにより編集済み: 12/18/2020 3:10:35 AMI can see it ending with our guardian going to the mother ship and calling all of its powers at once, all light subclasses so u start to look like ur in fire with purple drops coming off of u and u have arc arch over ur head, while ur feet start freezing and whatever we unlock before then, and turn into a giant nuke that destroys the mother ship causing all nearby ships to explode which start falling nicking the rest to the ground till none are left. And then we see a cinematic where all the major characters and civilians surround our dead body. Saint comes forward and says something along the lines of the paradox has ended. We then see him pick us up turn toward the camera and walk into it till it's black. Then it goes to another where we are seen layed into the coffin we saw from season of dawn and then the same blanket is layed across it that they had in caydes. We then have a new guardian created goes intently to the tower and are greated by Saint who goes "according to the will, u get everything including their ghost" and boom we get our equipment back so no one complains about losing all of it from a campaign mission, and they can implement a new voice actor and instead of the dead conversations the ghost has with our introverted guardian the two ghost bicker instead.

14 通の返信There’s a lot of lore to do with it, cause the travelers aren’t the darkness itself. The darkness is an entity called the windower, and the winower gave the pyramid shop guys the darkness energy to use. Since the darkness is a form of energy, like the light, it is only a tool, like the light. This means the guys running the pyramid ships are either a different species, or something other than that. Either way, we can technically defeat the pyramid ships. Just not the entirety of the darkness. The winower is an immortal being.

20 通の返信I want to know, why didnt the finish off the Traveler the first time? Why was the Traveler wounded but not totally defeated?
-
1 返信I'm just going to have my guardian summon Goku and Saitama so kill everything because this games story has become dumb and the travler and our guardians are useless.

1 返信Darknesss is all for chaos, so they don't want to direct kill but want the conflict. It was said before the Traveller incentive the cooperation while the Piramids incentive competition. But the traveller is hipocrital, because he choose a specfic population to growth and allow this said population to fight against others with no reservation, but then the Darkness came, It fles like disgusted by chaos, BUT IT WAS CHAOS BEFORE, it just that the choosen people were winning and worshipping IT, i just don't understand the Traveler abandoning people.

5 通の返信The Darkness is committed. We know this thanks to Osiris and the future he saw. Mercury gone, Earth a barren waste with an obsidian monolith towering over the land in the area where the Traveler once sat. The Darkness is here, whether it wins however is up to debate. If it even comes to this future also remains to be seen. We’ve changed the future twice now afterall.

4 通の返信<I don't know. The wager will end, and when it does it makes no sense for the Darkness to just leave if it loses. I mean, look at what they've been doing. We've lost so much ground, both figuratively and literally. Our only main bases of operations are on Earth alone and that means that the Pyramids don't have to divide themselves as much as they did during the Collapse. Imagine, dozens-no, over a hundred Pyramids surrounding the City with a titanic one hovering above. We're so -blam!-ed all we can hope for is that someone out there has a hideout.>

4 通の返信Then our solar system becomes the biggest bag of Doritos in the universe. Serious answer: The Darkness currently isn’t trying to kill us. It’s attempting to make us join it, because that would be the ultimate defeat for the Traveler. I’m 100% sure the Darkness told us this somewhere in the lore, but I can’t remember where so feel free to take this with a grain of salt. But if decides it’s done trying to recruit us then it’ll probably start attacking seriously.
