Nobody knows the pain of imbalance better than a PvP Player. Fellow Guardians we've had a PvE casual at the Helm directing Destiny for too long.
I've never in my life experienced a game director so disconnected from the needs of the playerbase itself until Luke got a hold of Destiny

3 通の返信If you want a real sweaty game that's actually esports....call of duty will be the go to. Destiny is a shit show. And players using cheesy, one hit kill weapons, wouldn't be the person you would want to be in charge of pvp changes.

3 通の返信90% of content creation for this is either exclusively crucible or some form of commentary supplemented PvE gameplay. It’s not: this is me replaying the raid for the 80th time. Here’s how we did in our weekly nightfall reset. Blows my mind how people who sweat in raids and noncompetitive content against AI have so much to say about why crucible sucks when they can’t even play at a high level. How many people would just stop playing if there was no crucible? You can’t measure that metric, but I’m sure it’s more than the community let’s on. I agree with you. GD should actually play crucible. It’s kind of a meme that there is no play testing and the game seems to revolve around the playstyle Bungie imposes as opposed to natural metas. -Sniper mod energy costs greater than other -stasis close the gap potential -complete immobilization via freeze Frozen CQC hellscape with something like 60% of kills coming from shotguns and stasis abilities. At least primaries are balanced for the first time in ages. Yay for scouts.

1 返信and? destiny is a 90% pve game with a CASUAL pvp part, sandbox is not that bad atm, they should remove scavenger from pvp and make all freeze ability/super last for 1.35s

There will never be a point when the game is fun and objectively balanced. Also, Luke smith is not the one directly in charge of crucible sandbox changes.

1 返信But will there be any “sweats” left when Luke removes top tree dawn.... I am not for the removal of supers, but seeing the sweats heads explode from that particular super going buh-bye is going to be pure bliss to watch unfold as a titan main...

9 通の返信PvE has and always should be the main focus. PvP has and always should be secondary. Something to do to break up the grind. The game is 100% better in that fashion.

5 通の返信Crucible never was, will never be, and had no intention of ever being balanced. Perhaps the "sweats" should try to wrap their heads around that fact.

3 通の返信Anyone can see the issues The maps are too small so hand cannons with their huge hit boxes are always going to be good Hand cannons pulses and ar’s have too much range for map size... Snipers are the strongest special yet have massive hitboxes still It’s clear now though that this game isn’t meant to be a balanced e sport... it’s arcade fun...

16 通の返信LoL Wed only have 4 weps, so u may be right. Hc, shotty, sniper, sword. All the others would be banned from pvp.

9 通の返信an Ape with a d2 addictionにより編集済み: 12/17/2020 8:56:13 AMThere's not a sweat at the helm since d2's a p2p arcade spacemagic FPS, not an esports competetive pvp FPS. The game's never been, isn't and won't ever be balanced for competetive pvp (except the d2y1 attempt and fail, scrapped concept since then). If someone wants to get good, sweat and tourney in d2 that's genuinely great. But they should also acknowledge what the game is and isn't. The lack of balance suprisingly can stop being a pain point after you rather embrace it. Which is also eventually the way to playing to win / "being competetive" in non-competetive games like this.

5 通の返信Sweats hate anything not a sniper, hand cannon, or sniper. They’d probably gut everything to be worse than year levels

If anything balance the sandboxes separate so the pvp nerf babies can stop destroying every good super and weapon!
