Bring back Armsday!
Wednesdays are barren in the routines of Destiny 2. Bring back Armsday and spice it up.
There's a lot of potential in renovating old Hakke, Suros, Omolon, and Veist guns. A lot of these are old favorites and I'm sure plenty of people would be happy to see them return. Maybe even throw in some of the other foundries, like giving Tex Mechanica a unique look and style.
Given the depleted loot pool, it'd be cool to see old guns return. I'm sure the City's foundries are working double time to pump out new weapons and ideas in the wake of the Darkness' consuming of the system.

It would need to be better than how it was in D1. Unless we have some control over the rolls it gets, waiting a week for 1 legendary sucks. On the other hand, maybe weapon telemetry would actually be useful if it came back.

In fact, once they figure out how to tie it all in* to existing core activities** and give it a silly name, bam, slap a tenner price tag on it, season done! * ie run 10 strikes to charge your armsday token, feed the armsday machine with said token, be disappointed with the reward. ** Those same ones that receive little to no attention and are in a woeful state of abject garbage.

Bungie won’t do anything that also could potentially lessen grind if something good is ACTUALLY available, meaning you’ll probably spend less time grinding. This has been ignored by bungie since launch. They are all in on little effort and eververse now.

Overall giving more flavor and character to the manufacturers. Sure it's more of a Borderlands thing but I love testing out weapons from white to exotic and like to learn the differences between manufacturers. I even have days where I feel a little "Suros" or "Omolon" in the Crucible

I agree completely and would love to see all the old Hakke weapons come back with option for targeted farming for rolls. I miss my Pribius, Halfdan and Eystein weapons. I just like the look and sound of the weapons and I had good rolls but can't bring them forward with sunsetting.

So I have this Zarinaea-D auto rifle. It has SC Holo/LB Assualt, Army of one, Feeding frenzy and a choice between Snapshot/Fitted stock/Braced frame. Not one Auto rifle exotic or legendary in Destiny 2 has matched it's performance when I've used em. Mostly because how perfect my Zarinaea-D was to me it literally flowers for Algernon'd auto rifles the moment I took it from Bansher.

It’d be worth it if the weapons had unique perk combinations that normally wouldn’t be found on them. That and previously unseen weapons. Having other foundries come into the mix would be a good idea too. I’d love to see a SUROS bow and a Tex Mechanica auto/pulse rifle.
