In all honesty, I think that stasis is just incredibly good at punishing idiotic or brainless play. It is incredibly powerful for fighting off apes and people who don't know what theyre doing, but is largely powerless when fighting someone who spaces themselves carefully. That said, aping has been so easy and so uncounterable for so long, stasis seems broken because it can slap those apes outta here way better than the other classes. TL;Dr if you think stasis is broken, it definitely has nothing to do with the fact that you spend half of most games on your knees with felwinters in your hands
