Hi there,
You need access to freeroam on both the Tangled Shore and Moon before you can begin Season of the Hunt. The Season of the Hunt introduction quest will begin on the Moon, called Trail of the Hunted.

Hi there, To unlock freeroam on both the Tangled Shore and Moon, you will need to complete the introductory missions for Shadowkeep and Forsaken, which are free to all players. Full campaign completion is not required. New characters may also be required to complete the introductory mission of New Light. Once freeroam has been unlocked on both the Tangled Shore and the Moon, the Trail of the Hunted quest will be available to complete on the Moon.
