Use your brain, you nerfed the rewards now nerf the requirements!
Why someone should grind that joke of a game for 100 Bright Dust? Delusional Bungie as always.

3 通の返信I remember all the bright dust I had right before they introduced the tribute hall. I sunk all my bright dust I had for the tributes and whatnot. At the time, I was thinking I’d probably regret it, but meh “need more tributes”! Had I known we’d be losing the tribute hall, I would have never dropped a single material or any bright dust into it. Now we acquire bright dust so, so slow compared to how it used to be.

2 通の返信Yeah I found this, especially the gambit super one, takes about 7 games now bcoz they're over so fast. They've landed in the middle where you still feel the need to do them, but feel ripped off. Typical half arsed not thought out effort . The whole game needs serious QoL work, even stiff like the strike weeklys are a joke, get 150 void kills, 150 arcs kills, n weekly burn is solar, n all the quests are stasis in strikes. Gambit is mental now, get 25 scout kills seems easy, until you realise aimnie have huge health pools n hit like tanks, n scouts are awful, and you need final blows. Then you need pulse x25, nades x25 melees x25 n before you know it you're doing way longer playing than before, for less rewards.

2 通の返信We actually get less in the long run, each week you used to get 3600 total on all characters, now we get 1800.
-
1 返信I thought the weeklies were supposed to be account wide? Something about players not having three characters to run.
-
3 通の返信Gambit bounties need to be nerfed I’ll finish some gambit matches before I even have a super, or when I get my super I almost have to force to use it just for bounties reasons

2 通の返信Good thing I racked up the dust when it was 200 a piece. Due to this season/expansion sucking ass, I have not spent any.
-
7 通の返信Why do all care so much about cosmetics that do absolutely nothing to improve your characters at all.
-
Honestly, I think the absolutely best thing they could do is triple the requirements, triple the rewards, but make the weekly bounties account bound, so progress counts from any of the characters you choose to play.
-
1 返信It should have been 500 bright dust so that you could get 3,000 a week and be able to get something expensive at least once a week from the store or stockpile it for future events.
-
1 返信should be as it was 3600 brightdust on 3 characters, but the first one you play on get 70-80% of it. this is how you want to reward single character players.

17 通の返信If you spend more than 15 minutes doing these bounties for each vendor, you’re doing something wrong. It’s not that time consuming.

2 通の返信Honestly thought it was stupid even for 200. Those bounties should be easily accomplished within the time it takes to get the pinnacle gear from each activity. Many weekly bounties are like this already, but the ones they need looking at are: -Enemy type specific bounties (Strikes) -Might of the Traveller (Gambit) -Use a specific elemental damage in PvP (Crucible) Finishing these bounties should feel organic and not forced. In Strikes, it isn’t too much of a hassle most of the time to switch to an appropriate element for the bounty, but hoping to get lucky and get a strike you need is simply frustrating. Yes you can just load up a strike off a destination but the goal should be to keep you in the playlist for the pinnacle drop. Additionally, the elemental bounties should always match that week’s singe. In Gambit, Might of the Traveller simply requires you to play in an infuriatingly specific way to accomplish it within the three games for the pinnacle. Just tune down the numbers a bit, make it easier to complete. The other two bounties are fine. In Crucible, it becomes a lot more of a hassle to simply switch to a certain element/subclass. Players should be encouraged to perform well in Crucible and that means being able to use whatever loadout they want, not slapping on items and abilities for an arbitrary bounty requirement. The other bounties are fine. As for dailies and repeatables, I think it is okay if they have requirements that disrupt your loadout a little. They are short and easy, usually being completed within a few minutes of a game and you always have the choice to delete/not do a daily or repeatable you don’t want to do. And with repeatables, you can just keep rerolling them until you get one you want.

6 通の返信I'm sure ya could probably get more, but I've got about 9k bright dust in the season so far. Started from 0. I say I'm doing well.
-
Maybe they don't want people to grind bounties. Bounties should naturally occur while playing the game. How should they nerf the requirements? Instead of 3 strikes, do 2 strike? Instead of winning 2 games of Gambit, win 1? The requirements are already incredibly simple, no need to nerf them. While on the topic, you do realize that the vast majority of players (yourself likely included) will be getting more Bright Dust this season. The Season Pass gives you an additional 7.8k Bright Dust compared to previous seasons.
-
Actually “why” is stupid question in this situation. “Will somebody be grinding” is more proper one. Attention! The answer: Yes of course! Bungie nerfed these bounties cuz there is a lot of life stock to play that game even without content, even with sunsetting, even with Cyberpunk was launched.

7 通の返信Before the changes were revealed, they made it seem like completing Weekly Challenges were going to give good amounts of Bright Dust. From the strikes to even raiding. They need to implement Bright Dust earnings account wide. That way it's also beneficial to the players with 1 Character. Bright Dust purchases need to be halfed as well, they are a lot more expensive with this currency than they are with Silver.
