The sound in my game has cut out twice. The first time I just restarted my console because I was trying to keep my friends from waiting for me. The second time, I tested a couple things and can confirm it is an in-game issue because all sounds for the PS5 overlay and anything outside the game works fine. I tried to close the app from the PS5 home screen, but my console got stuck on the closing application screen. I had to do a hard reset and submit 2 error reports to Sony. I wasn't doing anything in the game when the issue occurred. I didn't notice it until I tried to fly somewhere and I didn't hear any of the usual inflight sounds. No music or NPC talk in the tower. No weapons or other sound effects when I landed on the Tangled Shore. Restarting my console seems to fix the issue temporarily, but hopefully engineering team can figure out the actual cause of the issue.
