Okay, so here comes my first -blam!- about the game post.
What you call "Hawkmoon" , is not Hawkmoon. It looks like Hawkmoon, it sounds like Hawkmoon.
But it most certainly does not feel like Hawkmoon.
Please. Bungie. I am begging that you revert these changes, and give us the REAL Hawkmoon.
You know, 3 random bullets do extra damage. It was simple yet effective. Hawkmoon is known for it's gamble like nature, yet now it has nothing to do with Lady Luck!
To those who respond please refrain from the usual, Bungie is dog shit posts. Yes, we know Destiny 2 has it's problems, but being a keyboard warrior isn't going to help.
Bungie, I really liked Beyond Light, even with it's issues. But please, don't taint the legacy of Hawkmoon by making it something it isn't.

I personally think they shouldn’t have brought it back at all. They said something about not being able to bring back luck in the chamber, both due to how strong it would be, as well as Destiny 2 just not handling it well. Now we have “Hawkmoon”.

Don't you guys look at other forum posts before posting your own? There's a stupid amount of these posts on the front page of the forum. It'd be so much more effective to just have one post about it where everyone has their say than all these countless copycat posts. As far as the gun goes, yes I had D1 Hawkmoon and I actually really like this version. It makes more sense to know where the powerful bullet will be than for it to be random. It makes more sense to have to earn that powerful bullet. It makes sense to have random rolls on the gun so you can get an even better version. You all just moan about anything and everything at this point.

Thousands of people complained about the sunset and bungie ignored them, they will not change anything, they will do what they want and then they will say "we listen to the community and we are working on it".

BIRBにより編集済み: 12/9/2020 2:19:22 PMFor PvE, this is arguably better than the original hawkmoon. The amount of damage you can do with a primary? it’s kind of crazy. Yes I know people don’t use primaries to tank health bars, but having that option to at the end of every mag is pretty sick. Especially when you consider there’s a whole slot for perks no one has unlocked and a catalyst that hasn’t been released.

7 通の返信remember when people wouldn't upgrade hawkmoon for the larger magazine so they could utilize luck in the chamber more often? That is this situation. Final round being the only one to increase damage may not be the most efficient, but it's better than sitting in spawn emptying your mag, hoping you get the lucky bullet to 2 tap

15 通の返信Definitely better the way it is now. LitC was busted, and holding aces just added insult to injury. Veto.

2 通の返信In my opinion the old Hawkmoon has no place in this game. It just doesn’t, the perks was awkward and sometimes overpowered. The new perk is solid, it increases damage just like the old gun but it’s predictable. It’s also risky which plays into the style that Hawkmoon has always been. The random rolls on top are strange I’ll admit but I like it. QuickDraw Hawkmoon sounds nice to me.

14 通の返信The new hawkmoon is way better and Bungie has said repeatedly they want to remove RNG from gunfights. This is what you get, it still has the RNG nature due to random rolls.

To say it's underwhelming is an understatement. You can't really take advantage of the perk in PvP at all. Maybe once every couple games. Half the time you dont even get stacks from headshots. You can take advantage of the perk in PvE but it's useless. Shoot a whole mag of primary to shoot one bullet that basically does the damage of a couple special weapon shots to a major or boss. Special weapons are the boss/major killing weapons, this is just awful. So, in PvP: a 140 with good base stats but a pitiful magazine so that you can use a perk that isn't realistically usable and doesn't even work sometimes. In PvE: A primary used to kill majors and bosses which special weapons do 10x more effectively. Useless for add clear. Feels cool, sounds cool, isn't actually good at all for anything.
