So when do I get my real Hawkmoon?
Because this 140 handcannon you slapped the word 'Hawkmoon' on, isn't Hawkmoon.
This was a complete redesign of the gun. Why didn't you just come up with a different name and skin?
And seriously? Randomized rolls? You just created an exotic that is better depending on if the drop was lucky. Complete insanity.
Edit: holy crap guys, I'm not complaining about the gun being bad. It's a solid gun, it's just [b]not Hawkmoon[/b]

Enjoy your pvp exotics while you can. Their going the way of the taken king. Why else would they add randomized traits except to sunset all previous exotics. They hinted at eventually doing this. You now have hawk moon for 1 year before it dies, along with all other exotics. Defenders. say goodbye to all your exotics in year 4.

In summary, it is not just some completely different gun that looks like Hawkmoon. It's a gun forged with an effigy to the Hawkmoon made by the traveler for us as it's frame. is double summary, it is a flattering (and lovingly made) imitation of Hawkmoon given to us by our big parent in the sky

14 通の返信This is not Hawkmoon. This is a piss poor, entirely over-balanced squirt gun compared to OG hawkmoon. They destroyed this thing bc of concern about PvP, like those fools are the only ones paying for this game.

Soooo...i guess you just speedrun the quest and never listened to or read any text. It is stated very clearly. IT IS NOT THE ORIGINAL HAWKMOON...IT IS A HUSK MADE BY THE TRAVELER IN THE IMAGE OF A KNOWN GUN.

1 返信This post is proof that Destiny 2 is actually in a pretty good place. If your main complaint is that a gun got reworked instead of being released as an exact copy, then the game isn't really as bad as people say it is.

3 通の返信Read the twabs my dude, or at least the tldr's. Bungie said Hawkmoon wasnt coming back as its original version from D1. Im surprised you disnt expect this. Ace isnt the same as D1, so is thorn, last word, No time to Explain, ect.

4 通の返信This is the real hawkmoon. The fake one is the one that gave you free kills for simply existing and took no skill to use whatever. Learn to hit headshots with the gun or use something else and stop complaining.

It’s a collection gun for me, just like last time. I never liked it the first time around as I don’t care for my perk activation to be RNG. I know it was adjusted later. At least that element was removed and you can actually work with it as you please. Now making the rolls RNG outside of the exotic perk was a bad move.

Because Bungie know that the Hawkmoon was a desirable weapon. It makes people want to come back to the game whereas a good gun called ‘A N Other ‘ no matter how good doesn’t have the same appeal. It’s purely a sales tactic
