XBOX Series X & One X - Error code Nightingale after next gen update - United Kingdom So after the big 70gb update... tried to play... Nope...asking me who is signed in... Then checking for updates and failed to contact servers etc. etc. Error code Nightingale Failed to download configuration files from Bungie servers, please try again. The update it says is 0.1.23868.0 Tried the clear cache and hard reset. Uninstalled the 20 odd extra bits like beyond light update etc. 10mb things each... hoping something there was amiss.... Even though it updated all these in the big update. Tried looking at manage queue and updates - anything that may download some extra or missing bit... nope. Now done the complete unplug for 10mins etc. and still nope... Have I really got to delete and redownload the big 70gb file AGAIN to try... this is kind of bs Bungie when people have slower internet speeds or maybe even allowances - doing it once when notified but, you should dam well check your updates work before this kind of stunt - as its now costing me for your seemingly untested screw up release and If I delete and re install again and it not work I'm gonna be real pissed. Any help appreciated to save deleting and redownloading... maybe a hot patch for us next gen players... So I deleted all files and did full redownload and... still the same... exact same message...wtf.. this is more than frustrating what is wrong and its not console as nothing changed and it worked perfect till this update. So after NO reply - I deleted the full game and all files and re-downloading AGAIN on Series X. I got out my old One X and thought I be ok to play but, NOPE... that too needs an update 2.2GB - phew I thought at least only small and I should at least be able get on. NOPE - now when trying to play - I get the same damn problem... connecting, signing in, checking for updates.... Failed to download configuration files from Bungie servers, please try again Error code - nightingale. Kind of odd for 2 different consoles don't you think - sorta proves its your dodgy update... I need help and answer to get back on - cmon Bungie dont make me wait - already missed Tuesday due to this and dont want miss more days of a game I paid for.

Also getting chicken errors on xbox 1X and companion app no longer displays my characters. I have a 1260 hunter that I've worked hard on. I have done everything the mod requested from hardwire to cache clear and even left unplugged for 15 mins still not fixed.

50 通の返信Hi there! Please try clearing your console cache. 1. Power down the console 2. Once the console is completely powered down, unplug the power cord from the back of the console 3. Let the console sit unplugged for at least 5 minutes 4. Plug the power cord back into the console and power it on 5. Re-launch the Destiny game

7 通の返信As an update to this situation, I believe its an account issue that they broke. Companion app cannot load Director or Guardian tabs, says no characters associated with account PS5 version cannot sign in, chicken error PC version on Steam also cannot sign in, chicken error Cross-save is enabled between my account. So everything Destiny 2 related is broken for me right now.

Chicken error code as everyone else after update and not been able to play at all today. Sat here turning xbox off and on, quitting game, re starting and still same error codes. Bungie, maybe Tweet about it so people know this not an individual issue. I know loads of people with this and the weasel error codes and not being able to play post update.

2 通の返信12:52 mountain time, and every recommended fix has failed. PC, chicken errors, perpetual "contacting destiny 2 servers" message, DIM doesn't know my characters even exist, nor does the companion app.

also got the error code:chicken. If I go to the app it cannot find any characters but it says iam in my clan. I tried to clear the cache of my ps4 but it didn't do anything. If I go to my purchase history it's all still there and my game history is all gone while I did the raid on 3 characters before the maintenance.

To the next gen update, the issues connection CHICKEN repeat in my Xbox, I reset the router, and turn off the xbox, any help? In app destiny 2 too my characters are not, the app isn't working..... What update? The update is the dead of the game... Fix it pls

This is not a client issue, it is a problem on Bungie's end. It would help if there was any way to report actual issues other than hoping someone is reading the forums. And as others have also noticed, my character data is missing on my profile.

1 返信Yep, same here. Was on till 12:30 this morning without any issues, wake up and do the update to get smacked with the "chicken" code over and over (PC).
