Agreed. It's unplayable. I have no fun carrying 5 guys that couldn't hit the floor if they tripped and fell. It's pretty ridiculous at this point. I'm not kidding. I've been mercied 10-70 before, and I had all 10 kills. I don't understand how bungie thinks this matchmaking algorithm is OK.

That's what CBMM gives you but that's what everyone was demanding so you just got to live with it. Personally I think CBMM is the worst thing for a healthy crucible population, it only benefits the best players & is a poor experience for anyone just getting into the game. For all those that just say "get gud" well that's nigh on impossible when you spend most of the match respawning when you are matched against people who have been playing PvP since the beginning.

This is not the CBMM people were asking for. This algorithm does CBMM to get the lobby together, but then does SBMM to put the teams together from there. Pure SBMM was awful. Half the games were too laggy to consider this a playable FPS. We'd be matching people from 12,000 miles away because those were the only people on in our skill bracket at that time of the night. But you're telling me we can't get a lobby of 12 based on connection, and then just randomly match from there? That's what I want. I'll take a 50% chance of getting my butt kicked than a 90% chance of a game being a mercy. Because that's what it is now.
This is not the CBMM people were asking for.
Sorry but yes it is. All that was asked for/demanded was CBMM. What you now say you want is a hybrid CBMM/SBMM which Bungie tried in D1 & everyone hated it. Granted this was supposed to be SBMM then CBMM after, but it still didn't work. The choice is SBMM with close games for everyone but long queue times and potentially laggy games for the top players or CBMM where 12 players are thrown together based purely on the stability of connection, which is what we have now. This reminds me of the saying Be careful what you wish for because when you get it you may not like it

No I read your post From the TWAB 11th June By the time that this TWAB is published, a few changes to Crucible matchmaking will be live. Matchmaking based on player skill has been removed from all playlists except Elimination, Survival, and Survival: Freelance. Trials of Osiris will continue to be matched based on the number of wins on your Passage. No hybrid system.
