What if Bungie had artists from the community to create ornaments for Destiny 2 like what Digital Extremes do for Warframe? Using Warframe as an example it shows the skins/syandanas/armor that people have created in a section called "Tennogen", the models for the skins are shown on Steam and the community vote for the next few skins to come into the game. These skins are then placed on all platforms and players will be able to use them. If Bungie did the same thing Warframe has done it engages the community in what they want and if they bring something the players like then they will buy it, therefore boosting the income for the developers and the artists behind the ornaments. The ornaments could be sold around the same amount as original ornaments but have the silver/bright dust cost slightly increased/decreased. It gives players much more options to style their character and it benefits the creators aswell as the developers as money is coming through and the community are happy. Maybe one day something like this could happen but who really knows.
