I love the addition of stasis and how powerful you feel using the stasis subclass. My only complaint is that I no longer feel that much of an incentive to use light subclasses that I enjoy as well. I still use them and enjoy them in both PvE and PvP don’t get me wrong, but the advantages that you receive from the aspects and fragments are just so awesome for neutral play/ ability synergy and it’s just difficult to recreate that fun factor with the light subclasses. I hope the light subclasses get tuned to replicate that in their own way as well.
Also, for PvP specifically, I think it’d be cool if the light subclasses received some aspects and fragments that combat stasis directly to add in some balance factor. If there were some more balance to the subclasses, the sandbox would be in probably the absolute best state it has ever been.
Love the game, love the update, trying to give constructive feedback here. Please don’t be hateful and rude if you’re commenting, hope everyone has a great day!

I'm wondering if this is on purpose for lore, cause lore wise the darkness is supposed to be better and many guardians switch over to it and forsake the light. It does need some nerfing in crucible as a whole of the other subclasses need buffing. they change the other subclasses to work the same way the stasis UI works so that we can pick our melee, passives, grenades, and super variant. maybe make some aspects and fragments while your at it but under a different name that fits the lore with the light (this could tie in with ghost shells). there is currently no reason to use anything other than stasis in the crucible right now, because even when nerfed its better than everything else.

2 通の返信Crota Primeにより編集済み: 12/3/2020 4:48:46 PMI think BUNGIE said in a statement that the light subclasses might be updated to conform with Stasis and the other incoming darkness classes. Edit: I’d to see the return of the Rise of Iron era artifacts. (Memory of Skorri, memory of Timur, memory of Jolder.. etc.) If BUNGIE brought them back, they could have it so that the Iron Lord artifacts are only active when equipped to light subclasses.

1 返信Still love my Nightstalker subclass and it's still a top choice for me, even with stasis available.

6 通の返信Right now (light powered) roaming supers are made completely useless by stasis. Here’s my idea While using a super ability of light, guardians are immune to stasis. It makes sense just logically too, your guardian is supposed to be filled with light so he should be immune to darkness powers. This means in super, you are immune to slowing, freezing, you can walk through duskfield grenades , you can shatter stasis blocks on contact... etc...

51 通の返信I switched back to Slova Bomb and Stormtrance. Shadebinder is useless in PvE. The super is too short, the melee sucks, and the the super projectiles are too slow.

I’m only using stasis to fill bounties that require it. Otherwise, I’m using the light subclasses on all three of my guardians. I don’t feel powerful using stasis. I find that it takes to much follow up to actually kill an opponent. I’m surviving more often against other guardians now, as they freeze me but often don’t follow it up with a kill shot.

C1B3Dにより編集済み: 12/3/2020 10:14:17 AMThe light classes are abit outdated after Stasis, not that they are weak or something, some of them are still powerful, but they just lacking options and possibilities. More option to choose and tune your abilities is what they need.

5 通の返信Touchにより編集済み: 12/2/2020 3:44:02 AMStasis has great neutral game but I personally detest the Supers for all 3 classes. Titan is too clunky, like Sentinel. Warlock is wildly too short for PVE to do much good, and the Hunter one has a wickedly long slow burn. Going forward, I'll only use them if I have to.
-
1 返信I'm a hunter main and I think the stasis hunter is dog shit; I hate how the grenade works, it just freezes things which is boring. The super is also boring, it's just chilly blade barrage, this whole season feels especially lazy. I'm kind of disappointed in Bungie.

I would love this. But any time we've seen them "modernize" something in the game, we lose power in some way. Like losing great armor perk combos (and the number of perks equipped) with the change to armor 2.0. Or with ghosts losing some of their power to have more than just a chest and an xp mod (because the base xp mod now costs more than half your energy). I'm not saying that sprucing up these subclasses will go poorly, I just dont want to lose any (more) of the power we have.

2 通の返信Stasis is fun, but in any real activity, I am not running it. Voidwalker for life.

I thought they were going to give more customization to all the subclasses. Not just stasis. I really want this too, not just to combat stasis but to give more options in general. Give us D1 levels of customization.

2 通の返信Adding aspects and fragments to Light subclasses would make them ridiculously op or the additions would be so weak to be not worth the time to develop them. Striker Titan head and shoulders above Stasis Titan. Stasis has its uses but it doesn’t come close to Striker. Earthshaker: arguable the best striker. Max height slams hurt bosses and quick slams can make a huge aoe. With double nades and SC, paired with Skull, it’s the best damage and tank subclass for Titan period. Missile: melee ability allows for extremely fast supers, allowing a properly built Titan to wreck enemies. Juggernaut: light melee super absolutely beats Stasis in overall control. The extreme duration it’s capable off allows a single Titan to wipe out a whole army, we’ve all seen the videos of people soloing heroic missions with it. Solar and Void Titans are also awesome. I mean I could Solar and run Phoenix Cradle, giving my teammates better ability regen then Stasis offers. Void Titans can buff and shield their teammates better then some ice crystals. Stasis is good for a more balanced style. It does okay in everything but doesn’t excel near enough to be better then any of the others. It’s new and I think that factor is fooling people into thinking its better then it is.

2 通の返信Agree, In PVP stasis has such an advantage. Bungie nerfed all the other classes... might as well throw stones. Stasis has ruined PVP
-
1 返信I think it’s just the opposite, Stasis needs a buff to be more effective in endgame ,of all the raid racers I watched run Crypt ,I didn’t see anyone using stasis,Bubbles,Tethers,Wells and Nighthawk Goldie mostly And nobody is using Stasis in a Master Lost Sectors or Master Hunts Warlock Super was very effective in raids untill they nerfed it
-
well bungie did say if the feedback for the stasis subclass system is good they will do the same system for the other light subclasses and to be honest void would be the one to do first as it's dead simple to make void aspects so expect a class overhaul in witch queen or we will get one element get the aspect system per season
-
All of the solar subclasses gain sunspots/more burning, all void subclasses get a gravitational pull/push effect on all nades and supers, all arc subclasses chain lightning like dunemarchers on grenades/supers. Make the elements feel more unique and different other than just a color
-
In PvP yes, I would say as a warlock main a good chunk of supers just suck against stasis, don’t get me started on tickle fingers (storm caller). If they increased the damage and/or charge rate of melee abilities or made some mods that gave your abilities extra damage to those using darkness abilities then I could some balance coming back to the crucible In PvE No I would say I don’t know much about the other stasis subclasses but I can say this, the staff is just a very long wand. The range on the super is phenomenal but I would not recommend it for higher level activities unless everyone on your fireteam is running stasis. You move too slow to do anything substantial and if you don’t have the warlock aspect then there is no point of using shade binder in anything PvE.

3 通の返信Swiftにより編集済み: 12/2/2020 8:01:19 PMI enjoy stasis, but i feel its emphasis is more on crowd control and to finish up with weapons. I still feel more POWERFUL ability wise using our light subclasses, especially for warlock. I have had little to no reason to move away from top tree Nova in PvE unless my team absolutely needs a well. For DSC raid i run nova for the whole thing.
