Legend Loss Sectors are CRAPPY!
I spent 3 hours on one loss sector today and got only 2 exotic legs BOTH were sets I already have. NEWS FLASH: once you even get to the point where you can get through 0ne, they will give you nothing most times, and when you finally think you have the exotic drop they will give you crappy exotics that you already have...you are essentially playing and stressing for hours, for the UBER rare CHANCE that you might get the new exotics. This is a terrible crappy system that I won’t be a part of. This seasons update is full of hard work that reaps CHANCES at advancement. Advancement now reflects your luck and not your skill or hard work. I’m out.
EDIT: guys, this is my own fault, I was sure there were new boots for the warlock, there are not. So I essentially got rewarded 2x in 3 hours....please DISREGARD. The loss sectors ARE very difficult, but I did get an exotic 2x in 3 hours.

If you complete the legendary lost sector that rewards arms or legs and you haven’t gotten the new exotic, it is a guaranteed drop. You were probably doing it on a lost sector that wasn’t dropping helmets or arms. If you do it on the slot that you want, it narrows down the loot pool and allows you to farm for stat rolls along certain exotics.

1 返信I did one lost sector for a few hours for the helmet on my hunter and I got graviton forfeit and night hawk. I thought the new exotics were supposed to drop?

I received three exotics for my Titan plus catalyst for Hard Light in less than a hour. Received two of the exotics in one run. Bungie has tied everything to leveling now which is essentially time gating which creates incentive to purchase the season pass. Europa was interesting when I started on my warlock...but now boring on my Titan and I have almost no motivation to even start on my hunter. The Lost Sectors at least allow players a new challenge for solo content but it would be nice if they offered one with new exotics all the time and not just rotate.

Lost sectors are great, glad they made a way for solo players to get grind something out without having to find a fireteam like the nightalls to get rewards. That being said....... loot drops could be improved, the type of loot could be improved.. add a sliver of chance to get shards or prisms, modules, etc.. Glad this is a part of the game and a really great feature added, just quit being so damn stingy with loot drops in these legendary sectors.

So keep in mind the drop chance is around 10%, so try to get to a power level where you can do 10 of them. If you're taking around 20 minutes on one, you should power up a little more for a couple days until a chance rolls back around to do it... I got my first exotic at 1235.

Final chest with a chance at a specific type of exotic gear seems more than fair to me. Besides, after you've run the LS a few times while farming you should have your entire strategy down where you're not so stressed out ....
