Would this be a lore friendly season idea
Vex have invaded the EDZ and are subjugating remaining red legion into constructing a portal to the Glassway to bring something sinister to the EDZ.

Probably not The Vex seem incapable of invading earth for some unknown reason, and despite the Cabal being relatively weak and scattered they wouldn't be broken by a Vex invasion Besides, they'd have to deal with Guardians, Fallen, Cabal, Hive, AND taken if they ever decided to move in
