This will never happen- and quite frankly, it shouldn’t. The argument before was Bungie couldn’t decide if it should be a paid game or free to play with transactions- now that they are free to play this argument is over. Support the developers if you like the game. Micro-transactions are fine when they are voluntary- adding that amount of bright dust does little to incentivize their ability to make money...

That sounds like a free game to me...if you play it and like it then support the developers...if you don’t want to pay you still have access to a lot of content... But if you do play it you should pay.., And if $15 for a set of armor is too expensive then get the season pass - for the same price you get a seasonal event armor ornaments, exotics, currency, emotes... This is a non issue now guys - stop being so damn cheap...

They aren't. You're thinking netease. Netease are getting bungie an Asian gaming licence and they paid bungie 100m, for a 1% share on all profits in the Asian market. The 100m was used to make the 158m payment to get the rights from Activision. It's a simple business deal. You can't sell games in Asia without a licence, Netease get western companies asian licences, have done for years, for people like Blizzard. The new game is called Matter and has been being made since 2014, the above deal happened in 2018. Because they sell mobile games people assumed bungie are making a mobile game, this is 100% false. Unless you consider destiny a console mobile game, which you maybe could these days :)
