Can you bring back 200 bright dust weekly bounties and have it co-exist with the season rank. as a player who is generally slow at season rank and only reached lvl 100 once on DAWN with the help of damn silvers. I think it would be helpful for many FREE D2 players if we have multiple great alternatives for gaining free currency and making it worthwhile rather than sticking with one way. it broke my heart when my weekly bounties that I literally took 3 hateful hours to complete only gave me 400 bright dust when the items I wanted were 2,840's. pls pls pls give back the 200 per weekly rather than 100.. it kinda hurt literally spending hours on something that's not worth the effort.

Why would they want you to earn anything in-game by playing it? That's what Silver and Credit Cards are for... 🤣 But yes. The fact that they dropped it from 1200 Bright Dust weekly (for 3 characters) down to 600 is shocking. There's so many pay walls now, it's not even funny anymore. It's just sad. Very, very sad.

aren't there repeatable bounties that offer bright dust now? zavalas, I believe. just do that, infinite bright dust on the table.

Guardian1183により編集済み: 11/24/2020 8:30:42 AM100 per weekly bounty, plus 10 per additional is still a BUNCH of bright dust. Plus, the seasonal pass has been granted a bunch more as well. I believe near rank 100 you get 3200 bright dust. It kinda ramps up as you go through (like my most recent was 800 bright dust). Really, Bungie does the whole earning in-game currency very well. Gives you plenty of oppertunity to earn it, you just have to be dedicated enough to actually grind the bounties, which dont take long at all. 800 (amount per week from weekly bountied per character) x 3 (characters) = 2400 per week x 14 (weeks in season) = 33600 bright dust a season. You'll have plenty

Hold up. You have only reached Season Rank 100 once, yet are complaining about not getting enough Bright Dust from Weekly Bounties? There are 2 fundamental problems with your thought process. 1. If you are playing the game to complete weekly bounties, you are going to be getting levels pretty easily while playing. If you are playing core activities often while doing bounties, you should easily be able to hit 10 season ranks per week given the weekly buff. At rank 100, you are getting 5.2k MORE bright dust than in past seasons on the free pass. To put this into context, you would need to do 53 Weekly Bounties in a single season in order for your Bright Dust gains to be less than in the past. 2. If you are not playing enough to even get to rank 100 over the course of the season, why should you be getting lots of free Bright Dust? A better question, if you don't play the game that much, why would you care if you get a certain cosmetic? The only players that were negatively affected by the Bright Dust economy changes were those who grinded all 6 weekly bounties on all 3 characters every single week.

Thank you for sharing this. My thought about the change is that if they are reducing the amount of bright dust from the weekly bounties, then I feel they should also reduce the requirements of those bounties, at least in regards to the kill 150 enemies, or use a certain element to get 150 kills. Otherwise, to me, it feels as though I am doing the same amount of grinding, yet for less remuneration, which for me makes it feel just as, if not even more, grindy than previous seasons. I suppose another option they could consider is reducing the cost of bright dust for items in the Eververse shop.

Activision, lol By cutting f2p players, they make those who paid for the game and for the battle pass suffer.

Felt really bad this week doing the gambit weeklies given the games are that fast I often don't even have my super before we spawn the boss. Took 6-7 games to complete when it used to take 3, and for 100 dust. They said they adjusted it to stop the feeling of needing to focus on Bounty's and yet here we are, still needing to do them. They actually adjusted it to make people buy the season pass.

This will never happen- and quite frankly, it shouldn’t. The argument before was Bungie couldn’t decide if it should be a paid game or free to play with transactions- now that they are free to play this argument is over. Support the developers if you like the game. Micro-transactions are fine when they are voluntary- adding that amount of bright dust does little to incentivize their ability to make money...

I don’t like the change from 200 down to 100 per weekly dust bounty. However it does mean that I have less incentive to bother with PvP or Gambit, so it definitely has positives for me. If you’re not even hitting season pass rank 100 each season then it sounds like you hardly play. If you hardly play then why bother about cosmetics ?

i don't want the season rank bright dust..put glimmer in it's place i don't care..change the bounties back to 200 bright dust..before the change you could earn 3600 across 3 characters. and it was okay if you wanted a few items you could earn them..now you can get 1800 across 3 characters..you can buy one item now..hitting 100 rank on season rank takes a lot of god damn time and grinding and it only gives 3200 bright dust which is less than what you could earn weekly? am i getting this right? if my info is correct than why isn't this one of the big discussions?

Yamabushi999iにより編集済み: 11/23/2020 11:26:15 PMI believe the excuse given was that more is in the Battle Pass. If so, what happens after level 100? Cosmetics are a key motivation for a great many people in all kinds of games. It's the source of millions of dollars in Destiny. As someone who routinely gets to level 200, level 400, level 500+ for Bright Dust it's going to definitely reduce playing after level 100. The bounties are too long for the meagre halved 100 reward.

You’re playing the game for free, and you’re earning in-game currency for free to purchase items that would otherwise cost you real-world currency, and you’re complaining about not getting enough for free? I don’t even know what to say.
