Not liking the sluggish super. That’s for sure. Maybe I just suck with it but the projectiles are too slow IMO.

Warlock main here: This nerf was definitely too heavy. I'm all for a nerf of some sort because warlock was definitely out of control. The problem is this was a 50-75% nerf across the board. It made the class feel really lackluster. One of the most frustrating things is that the freeze break out timer has enabled players to use macros that spam fast to break out in unreasonable amounts of time. However, rather than just complaining about a problem, I'd like to suggest some changes to balance it back out. Stasis -Stasis breakout damage increased (90->100hp). (still a nerf from original 110) -damage reduction effect of Resilience Caps out at 90 Resilience. (this is fine, reward resilience. it needed the love anyway.) -Penumbral Blast (Stasis Warlock melee) needs projectile speed reverted. (this was one of icelocks only ways of dealing with leeroy shotgun strats, now you die to people shooting at melee range before it can land.) -Penumbral Blast (Stasis Warlock melee) range increase back to 22 meters (originally 28, current 16) Winter's Wrath light attack (Stasis Warlock Super) reduce cost further to 4 percent to counteract the 24s timer nerf a little -Cold Snap seeker speed increase by 13% (still down from the original 23% nerf and the height nerf can stick) pvp changes Cold Snap freeze duration increase to 2.25s (originally 4.75s) Ice Flare Bolts freeze duration increase to 2.25s (originally 4.75s). Penumbral Blast (Stasis Warlock melee) freeze duration increase to 2.25 (originally 4.75s). increase the effect of Winter's Wrath heavy attack on non-encased players to around 35-50% of original, that way players can be penalized for staying too close together, but its not a party wipe like before. (currently completely removed)

Well, kill me if you like, but I think the whole Stasis thing is bullshit. Warlock. Throw a grenade that forms a barrier of ice [i]between you and the enemies.[/i] Shoot said wall of ice. IF - big IF - enemies are frozen in the wall, they blow up. You don't really know until you shoot the wall. If not, as the wall comes down, they kill ya, because you're busy reloading after shooting a wall. Throw said grenade behind the enemy. Great! 2 inches too far, and they ignore it. Super. Lots of icy spears or something that fly all over the place and freeze the enemy. Great! By the time the super ends, they have unfrozen themselves. Yeah, I know, over simplistic, but I've gone back to the old ability. At least they die straight away, and I don't have to do it twice.

Yep. Should of just made freezes last less and take less Damage when breaking out for all classes equally and call it a day. Instead they went the Nova Warp route and neutered the super and killed the melee too just like they killed HHSN. You still see the other two classes using Stasis everywhere but Shadebinder are a rare breed 11 days after they were released.

Honestly when warlocks came out cracked I had a feeling they were gonna get beat down by the nerf bat. So I guess I was mentally prepared, still sucks though. I may switch to titan, I ate a crayon last week and thought 🤔 "not bad".

Stasis is now pointless in Crucible for Warlocks. While Hunters and Titans get to use their new toys Warlocks are being forced to use the old subclasses to compete. It's supposed to be called Beyond Light. Instead I get to use hardly any of my favourite weapons and my new subclass is nerferd to uselessness. I Want a refund.

So far I've noticed in pve, it's mostly fine. But the biggest problem I've seen is the melee range. Not only do Hunters have a much bigger range now, Warlock melee range means you are almost in the enemy melee range and regular Warlock melee range. Hell, for some bosses you are in the stomp range. This nerf has been way too much. Sure, it was bad in pvp, but this makes Stasis almost useless. Where it was a new very viable subclass at first, it now just is another Nova Warp.

I’m wholeheartedly convinced that 90% Of the developers are hunter Mains that are biased against warlocks. Makes absolutely no sense that we would get ours NERFED in every conceivable way but the hunters new super gets to run absolutely rampant! THEY GET TO INSTANTLY FREEZE, THEN INSTANTLY SHATTER, THEN GET A BLIZZARD DOME , AND IT MOVES AROUND AFTER! LIKE BRUH THATS LIKE 3IN 1 , Oh no not overpowered at all right? The warlock bias is painfully obvious and I’m sick of it. It’s ridiculous that every time you swing the hammer it falls 10 times as hard on warlocks. Get it together Bungie.

It’s so inferior now. The hunter once again gets sick abilities (15s seeking tornado? Double long-range melee that has automatically perfect accuracy on ricochet?) while warlock now has another underwhelming, slow clunky subclass. Sigh.

Bungie doesn't know how to balance. That's why there's sunsetting and shit. If they simply made certain stats on weapons/skills change once taken INTO pvp then going back to normal for pve the game would be great. but there will always be a constant struggle and bs grind reset because they don't know how to make everything viable without everything being too OP for certain activities.

Warlocks arent allowed to have fun it seems. Clickbait youtube videos with titles like "OMG THE NEW WARLOCK SUBCLASS IS SUPER MEGA OP BROKEN IN CRUCIBLE!!!!!! " is obviously what they should be basing their balancing on.

I agree. They went too heavy handed rather than test changes behind the scenes first. Melee range should be brought to 20m, Speed nerf reversed. Cold snap nerf is fine. Freezes should be 2 seconds across the board in PvP. Not sure how I feel about the super time reduction because it really screws with its damage potential in PvE The only thing keeping shadebinder from being garbage right now is the aspects and fragments and that’s not saying much.

So does all the classes freeze for 1.35 seconds or is it just warlocks?... cuz if it's just warlocks thats completely bullshit. If not and it is on all classes thats fine..
