This dlc is actually good... story narrative just from side quests, lengthy story missions, lots of lore and new things to learn about the darkness and guardians, a dope new subclass that is a game changer and can be more easily customized than the previous subclasses, a huge new planet to explore, And there's plenty more content to come, I haven't even completed everything this week and I've played quite a lot. stop being toxic and salty just because it's not living up to your perfect standards. By all means, quit the game if you just want to complain lol, destiny could really use less toxic crybaby's in the player base.
Let the toxic salty responses begin 😂😂😂 can't wait to see what kind of hate I get in the comments 🤡🤡🤡

4 通の返信This is what I say to everyone that complains about Beyond Light. The dlc is amazing, they just don’t like sunsetting, which should not be included with Beyond. Light because it would happen, no matter what dlc it came out with.

Imagine having such low standards that any hot garbage is labeled as good content because you lack the capacity for critical and objective opinions. The entire dlc keeps circling the same actual content after a few hours with quests that literally are the same thing but formulated differently. And people aren’t allowed to criticize that because you don’t like to read it on the forums? This game will be entirely irrelevant if it stays this course within a year...

ATTENTION ATTENTION!!! BUNGIE APOLOGIST LAST SEEN IN THE FEEDBACK FORUMS! warning: suspect is know to willingly throw money at his screen for garbage content and belittles any player who decides to criticize the $400 dollar f2p game that is destiny 2. (Bruh you have to be brain dead to think this DLC was worth $50-70 dollars)

6 通の返信You're seeing all this salt for two reasons. 1. Bungie has realized that trying to be everything-to-everyone is a Fool's Errand. So they are focusing on creating a specific kind of game, for a specific kind of gamer. The target audience is happy. Everyone else is varying degrees of mad/disappointed. This was unavoidable....and it should have happened years ago...but didn't. 2. Bungie fed into a mindset with respect to loot that was NOT compatible with the kind of game that Destiny 1. They fed into, and created an expectation that was not sustainable. Bungie has now had to walk this back for the sake and long-term health of the game. Problem is Bungie no longer has the credibility to educate the player base as to why this is necessary....and players without a lot of loot-game experience are confused and mad. Bottomline, is there is a winnowing of the player base going on as Bungie transforms this game from an over-engineered shooter....into a true action-RPG. That transition is going to be painful...and a lot of people aren't going to want to play the game that Destiny becmes on the other side of this. But it needs to happpen...and it should have happened years ago,

1 返信I'm surprised at the feedback. Thanks for the support and constructive criticism, with some salt sprinkled in, perfect. Like yes this dlc isn't perfect... The game isn't perfect, but what game is? Most of the games nowadays pretty much suck, I'd say destiny is the lesser of that evil, it's entertaining enough for me to play everyday, I know it's not for some and that's okay... All I'm saying is if you're gonna have a crap attitude about the game and don't enjoy what bungie is doing then simply don't play it... I feel like if bungie wasn't always trying to deal with everyone's complaints they'd be able to focus on more important aspects of the game. 🤷 Also... This is just the first week lol, we all know there is more to come. Eyes up, Guardians.

2 通の返信Spectreにより編集済み: 11/17/2020 7:28:59 PMYeah so far I’m really enjoying beyond light so I’ll list some things I find really positive about it Story: the story has a feeling like a mix of shadowkeep and forsaken where it’s “hunt these people down”. The story actually gives you useful lore information and exposition( I’d list the instances here but that would be a spoiler) which is great if you’re not big into lore and don’t know a the little bits of destiny inside and out Stasis: stasis is really fun to use inside of PvE for Titans at least and my warlock friend seems to have a blast with shadebinder Quest: the quests feel more unique and has a little busy work but not anything d1 and d2 vets have experienced. The quest involving the exostranger I think might be one of the best quests we’ve had in while and allows us to better know the exo stranger’s past and her mindset Exotics: the 2 beyond exotics I have current feel unique and like how exotics should feel and I can’t wait to get the rest Aspects/fragments: aspects and fragments are cool mods for stasis that can really change the way you play with them and I can’t wait to see the rest of them Aspect/fragment quests: the quests feel lengthy but not too long for how powerful the aspects/fragments can be. Post campaign: I think it was cool and brings life to a world where previous expansions felt like it stopped advancing after the campaign was finished minus forsaken. The post campaign makes sense and wraps up a couple loose ends left by the story Europa: I love Europa and has easily become my favorite destination. It’s huge and looks amazing. Cosmodrome: love it very nostalgic feeling I only wish it was the siva infested version but I love it all the same

13 通の返信the community is a reflection of the state of the game. when the game is good and engaging, the player will discuss it. during D1 the forums were about builds, strats, lore RNG. the D2 forums are about high prices and low content.

I remember people complaining when the new set of supers came in on the previous DLC. Saying they were not "super" enough and too weak. Finally get a strong super and they are complaining its too strong. I will admit that this DLC seems a little weak compared to the others. Not sure if we really worth the €50 I just spent...

Both sides of the spectrum are toxic mate, and neither are completely right. The dlc really isn't that good when you consider it's cost, but it's not hella bad either. I honestly think it's all boring because all the content we lost made a bit of a gap where I can't find too much to do that isn't grinding, and though the content was generally pretty short in the dlc I think it was pretty good. There's just too much good and bads this time around to be on really either side. It's really just all about proper criticism now.
-
So when is it okay to start holding them accountable for the state of the game? 6 years, multiple dlcs and it is a lot of the same. I agree there are better ways to discuss what's going on in the game but people have invested a lot if time into this game. Having lackluster content makes them feel like their time invested means nothing. Hence the emotional responses. I for one like and dislike the expansion. I don't think the price justifies the content. The state of pvp which I normally enjoy is laughably bad. Also calling them "crybabies" while asking people not to be toxic is irony in its finest.
-
This is just depressing to see... I honestly doubt you truly love this franchise if you're willing to excuse and even praise all the shortcomings, lies, and hollow promises of this company we've given so many chances to. I don't think this is the worst DLC but let me know how much fun you're still having with all of this in 6 months. Snore.

The story is good, europa is cool. However there are some big problems. One being the price of the expansion being 40 dollars. We played through it and there aren't any new repayable activities other than the raid coming soon. This doesn't seem close to forsaken or taken king. Which is understandable but what isn't is them being priced the same. If youre gonna openly sell something of lesser value it should not be the same price. Basic human decency. This expansion is cool and fun but it lacks content and reminds me of the days playing dark below having nothing to do at all.
