Variks was simply amazing (For one very brief story spoiler moment)
It finally hit me on my third playthrough, when Variks stopped appearing weak/polite and unleashed every ounce of his anger/frustration upon Erimis. It reminded me of the first episode of Star Trek: Picard.
Everyone has their limits and that burning rage over the loss of so much Eliksni life, was awe inspiring to hear.

Spider said that Variks chose an accent to appear more friendly. When he got angry, his speech was very clear and not broken. I believe that Variks is hiding something, whether it's a threat to us or not is yet to be seen.

5 通の返信I have to say, that whole conversation between him and Eramis where he just loses it and blows up on her is some of the greatest dialogue in this entire game in YEARS. PERIOD. And the way that whenever we hear him speaking in perfect English is when he’s speaking in his mother tongue to Eramis and it’s just vocally translated for us...Bungie did an amazing job with that.

1 返信I won't lie I had the opposite reaction and just found him annoying rather than menacing. When he was yelling I was glad to hear Eramis shut him up. Sorry Variks, but it's a miss for me.
