<Clarity Control is not the Europan Pyramid. Just as the K1 Anomaly was not the Lunar Pyramid. Let me give you a rundown on the lengths Clovis Bray I took to hide it away from his own granddaughter, but also the vague descriptions of the artifact in of itself. Note that Clarity is Darkness and its effects, Clarity CONTROL is the artifact. [b]Descriptions[/b] [quote]I wonder why Clarity Control chose the particular aspect it did. That form, that face. Is it a message particularly meant for me?[/quote] This is when CB1 finds CC, and he follows it up with: [quote]I have always harbored a wariness towards women[/quote] This seems to suggest that Clarity Control took the form of a woman, or at least had the face of one. This is likely in reference to the veiled statue that we find on the Lunar Pyramid and in the structure buried in the Tree in the Black Garden. What remains a source of confusion for me here is that Clovis mentions that it bears the same visage as the artifact on Luna, which is the Anomaly. However, the Anomaly was described as a black orb in the Shadowkeep CE journal. This means that K1A either gave Clovis a vision, or it reshaped itself after being contained. CC seems to be more active than K1A, the latter only speaking and influencing the nearby crews. CC speaks to Clovis as K1A did to the First Light crew, but was also capable of killing people. In an attempt to move CC, over 19 people were killed by means not known to anyone but Clovis. CC also has a general effect about it. Whether it's energy-based or something you can physically take is unknown. Whatever it is, it's Dark energy. The properties of which involve adaptation of itself and reduction of properties that can live with casting things off. Vex fluid, when exposed to it, will be reduced to a simpler form. This combination is what goes into an Exobody to make the mind work with it just a bit better, though it still needed serious work. [b]Security[/b] Clarity Control produces Darkness in its own secured space. This space is heavily monitored and restricted to a select few people. Clovis made sure that no one could get in, and was extremely confident in his security measures. It was apparently so secure that not even the Vex that had begun to terraform Europa had the faintest idea as to where it was. This came to a head when Radiolarian cells in Clovis and nearby Frames turned on him and demanded to know where CC was in the form of a simulated Maya Sundaresh. She demanded he take her to it, but he was saved by an Exo Elizabeth. (thanks ARG for that info) The point is that CC isn't easy to get into, but it's small enough to be locked and the key to be thrown out. It is because of this I come to my conclusion. Clarity Control is not the Europan Pyramid. Pyramids are titanic ships spanning over 4 kilometers in length. The only Pyramid we've seen that crashed made a massive hole that rivals any canyon on Earth with the exception of certain oceanic trenches. Not only would it be a titanic and stupid effort to move (way more than human bodies are needed to move something that big) it, but it would be nearly impossible to seal off an object that size so completely and utterly. Especially if said object crashed. As for the Pyramid we see in the trailers, there are no holes in the ground near it that suggest it was ever buried, and the lights point that it's like the Io, Mercurian, Martian, and Titan Pyramids, which were activated in the climax of the Red War and arrived with the active Armada. This is opposed to the Lunar Pyramid, which activated last year thanks to Eris and has a limited active state. So, to reiterate, Clarity Control (CC) is not the Europan Pyramid (EP).
