ya know I just releaized something
with the darkness doing whatever to mercury that means the vex lose the infinite forest so they can't make any predictions to lead them to their goal
man thats a serious blow to the vex

They still can simulate things, just not nearly as much as the Infinite Forest could. Losing the Infinite Forest is definitely a serious blow because it’s by far the Vex’s most powerful simulation machine, but even individual Goblins are capable of running over 200 simulations at once. Plus the Infinite Forest still exists in other timelines and the Vex would definitely have tons of similar simulation machines spread throughout the galaxy.
