So im going through what we are getting in BL, for a price tag of 50 bucks which includes the 4 seasons.
What im seeing is we get
-Europa (Which i dont see any indication on the size of this zone)
-A new raid (Which again is kinda cool)
-New Sub classes
-More armor/weapons
-Undisclosed amount of exotics guessing at least 12? 2 a season then 4 for BL 1 armor for each new sub class and a weapon.
Am i wrong in thinking the price of this is kinda steep for what we are getting?

SMOKEY D 7により編集済み: 10/26/2020 10:06:21 PMYes you are wrong. Everyone gets Europa. Everyone gets stasis. Everyone gets the strikes Not sure about weapons and guns. Right now if you are paying $50 You get campaign, and raid.

I mean, people line up in droves to pay 60 bucks for single player linear games that take like maybe 20 hours to complete if you're lucky and space out play sessions. I'd say this a decent deal with Destiny. Tons of stuff we don't know yet and I'll get far more than 20 hours out of it.

Yes and ill explain why 1. Season pass for any game now is around $10 per season that in total of 4 seasons brings us to $40 2. Amount of content in expansion is how bungie sets price. Taken king for example was $40-$60 depending on which edition you bought. Rise of Iron was $30. These were expansions without any season passes. 3. It really depends on personal value for YOU. If you think its steep thats the value of the game to you but if I see it as cheap or even fair price thats a different value to me. So yes I do think its fairly priced but if you think its expensive than you may not value the content as the same as I do and thats fine.

A lot of content taken away More content recycled A full line up of brand new micro transactions Minimal new earnable guns / amor Raid Access to more items to purchase at Bungie store after completing in game achievements

I'm out this time. I'm not falling for that annual pass bs for a third time. Hope there's something substantial for the people that buy in.

I do think the price is a bit high but there is info out on quite a few of the things you listed as undisclosed. We've seen Europa's world map which shows that it should be reasonably big. Bigger than Mars but not as big as the EDZ or Nessus from the looks of things. I think there's five zones but don't quote me on that. We've also seen a trailer that displays some of the exotics. I think they showed like 9 or so. I'm not sure if they showed off all exotics though or just a few. Based on the Clovis Bray journal though, the story sounds freaking awesome. Hopefully there's a bunch of content that hasn't had much exposure which will justify such storytelling.

I think the price point is fair for what we are getting, new planet, armour, weapons and subclasses etc. Where it becomes unfair is listing whats going away next to whats coming in. This interactive store front, erm...i mean game is getting REAL bad for us the consumer. I'll play it (through game pass) because 15 hours after the launch of d1, when i finished the campaign i wanted to see where this story was heading, now 7 years later I'll be able to get a glimpse of the story they are trying to tell instead of all the world building they have been doing. Having said that, if bungie shut it's servers down tomorrow i cant say i would care, if a game developer wants to sunset gear you use your creativity to creat new and better gear, organically having the playerbase move on from the old, not yeet our most prized gear out of our hands for no other reason then creative bankruptcy.

Gore, that will make mortal kombat look like a family friendly game and lower the rating on doom to gp

Europa does look a bit bigger then the average planet and we are getting 2 exotic armor pieces for each class. 5 exotics have been confirmed, Hawkmoon being among them. We don’t know if this is all we or getting but maybe there is more

Or to put it in english, your getting butt fooked, without a reach around.
