Destiny 1 was originally delayed because the original story was reportedly thrown out before launch and the writer was let go. The original story had us meeting a character called the Crow early on during our time in the cosmodrome. The character was eventually scrapped, The story was canned, vanilla Destinys story was ruined because it was last minute, and the character assets of “the crow” were used to create Uldren Sov. Now Uldren Sov is hiding by the alias Shaw Han and will guide new players through the initial missions of D2 in the cosmodrome. Talk about weird. Everything has come full circle. Was this intended or is Bungie now using ideas from a story they once panned?

Never trust Activision. I was a fairly active member of these forums around the time of Halo Reach and in the lead up to Destiny 1. I remember how mortified everyone was that Bungie was partnering with Activision, only to get the response of 'Don't worry, we will retain conplete creative freedom and Activision will have no say on such matters.' It was a bad move partnering with Activision, a move that ultimately hurt the game and the fans.
