SRL
Bring back SRL where its treated like mario kart/wipeout, where you pick up orbs to get energy/items to use against your opponents/ intake as sparrow health. Use super abilities based on element selected (Solar-over ridden burnout speed boost) (Arc - radial EMP for 5 seconds) (Void - slingshot yourself from your nearest opponent to ahead of them, while slowing them down during connection). Rewards would come from Amanda Holiday. Sparrow customization: front rails, body, and exhaust. Build your sparrow from the ground up (adding power lv to it) and add cosmetics as rewards, add different types of flair like specialty sparrows have (pedals for V-day exhaust, rainbow exhaust like the mars sparrow, etc.), shaders, gaurdian tricks replaced for emotes whilst on sparrow.

I loved SRL but I understand everyone who didn't as well. Bungie have said they won't bring it back and that's a shame but it's fine. The argument, "if you want racing play a racing game" is pretty stupid though. You'd think those people have never played other games with party game modes or something. I do wish bungie would actually do something different for a change though in their events cause boy am I -blam!-in tired of baking god damn cookies and just hopping from planet to planet accomplishing nothing. If they ain't gonna put any effort into the events, I'd rather not have the events at all and have them actually focus on the rest of the game instead. Would people really miss the haunted forest or cookie baking that we've had for what, 3 years this year? I'm sure some might but like those of us who enjoyed SRL, they'd be a minority.

remember, we have to say the opposite of what we want in order for Bungie to take action. If the community were to say "Bungie, please do NOT bring back SRL", then they'll probably do it thinking they are pissing us off. Unless we're popular content creators, they could careless what we think/want, and that's been evident with all the upsetting re-skins and re-releases of old weapons and sunsetting. See how long it took them to take action against aim bots? It's because the streamers complained, not us.

I thoroughly enjoyed SRL, and your Mario kart loot incentive idea would be a most welcomed change. I say yes. I love the idea. It is a form of PVP, and I’ve been crying out for a pvp game mode that does not end up being clash for 6 years now. SRL and Rift were the closest things I ever had. Now I just have......nothing

SRL alone already disrupted the flow of gameplay back when it was shoved into the first Dawning by giving it its own slog to grind and loot that meant nothing in the long run. Granted, that’s how a lot of loot in this shitshow works, but making SRL permanent AND giving it its own progression system that only affects races and nothing else? Couldn’t think of a more useless idea. At least with other slogs, the things you get are useless by comparison. The slog for Leviathan’s Breath gave me an Exotic weapon that I will never use because it isn’t bullshit, but at least it CAN be used anywhere else, so it’s only comparatively useless. What is going through your new proposed SRL slogs gonna do for my character in the game? Give me more things to only use in your SRL slogs and nowhere else. You think that a closed-off progression path for something that has nothing to do with being an FPS is going to do anything at all? Well, Bungo, be my guest! I guess when Destiny consistently fails so hard at being an FPS that it has to try being a racing game now says more about this parasite of a franchise than anything else! Can’t wait for it to try being a dating simulator too!

No point in asking bungie won’t bring it back, I liked it something different to do Only thing they could do is do it like a patrol, click on it and race from point to point. Think there was something like that in d1 cosmodrome
