You do realise you can empower the orb right?
If I run one more Corrupted nightfall where idiots throw three charged orbs at Sedia instead of throwing one to a team mate to charge it up first I swear I'm going postal!!

2 通の返信It’s one of my favorite strikes. I think the real fix would be optional matchmaking. Make it so if you want to do strikes but don’t have any friends on you do t have to pair with randoms. I can get more done solo than most randoms can do together.

5 通の返信This is how Bungie screwed that up: By having an either/or "half mechanic", they made sure people wouldn't have to learn the more powerful mechanic. If the empowered orb had been the only way to break the shields, people would HAVE to learn it to progress the strike. Otherwise, you're never getting off the elevator. Or, they could have gone full Ben Stiller (for clarity, not making fun of mentally challenged people, just Stiller here), and simply made the regular orb the only orb.

2 通の返信I don't think the game shares this with you in game. Its something you need to figure out or be told. I doubt this message will help, messaging your former team mates would probably do the most good. Another reason for no raid matchmaking.

1 返信I actually had a guy say something back when i complained ingame bout that. He said he didnt know and has never played the strike before. Im like dude i repeatedly said throw the orb to me....how more clear can i get then that?

2 通の返信Against my better judgement, ran one with 2 dudes that had no clue and it did not matter how many times I tossed an orb at them or messaged them, damn thing almost took 1 hour, I did not think you could complete a nf with 0 score

Yeah if I'm running no mic and they screw that up I just bail...its thankfully early in the strike. And I know those idiots won't know to wait for the late hobgoblin overload to spawn in the ogre room either.

I will never run the strike with randoms. I will literally stand in front of the guy and emote and he will run by and throw it............ I finally gave up trying solo. I'm also amazed how many people do not attempt to eliminate the envoys Gambit. They will use their super on the boss as soon as he spawns and sit there and only shoot the boss. So Frustrating...... I'm aware many do not know but Bungie should put that info in the loading/tips screen or something.... LOL!!!

1 返信I look to my teammates when I pick up the orb. If neither of them face me, I assume they don't know that the orb can be powered up, and I just throw it at the boss.

This is more than half the reason I do not run the Corrupted strike and especially NF unless I run with clanmates! Even if you throw it at them they often have no clue they have it or just simply, totally, absolutely miss the shot. Sucks too as it's almost a fun strike otherwise.
