This super needs to work instantly as in the exact moment it hits a wall and the tether connects. When you have some roaming super hot on your tail it needs to tether and disable them instantly not like 3 seconds after the tether connects. Supers in this game are horrendously overpowered and such a crutch and the only super dedicated to shutting others down barely ever works without you dying.

I mean what do you want, you get to be invisible almost constantly. They have to balance the subclass somehow. Why do you think top tree dawnblade super sucks so bad? Cuz the neutral game is insane. It would be game breaking if the super was badass too
-
1 返信If you want a shutdown super then use Blade Barrage. Oh wait, you want that 9 seconds invisibility dodge as well as improved radar 🤣
-
Why are you using the Deadfall Super in PVP? You would be better off using Spectral Blades than any other Super. Tether works great in PVE, but falls way short in PVP and not worth anything really. Even Moebius Quiver is better than Deadfall in PVP. IMO

1 返信I mostly use tether in crucible and I think it has a different use, it's not really a get-out-of-dodge ability. Rather, it is to be used defensively, blocking a doorway that the opposing team must push etc. If you know supers are charged and you see that warlock running out into an open space with purpose or that titan running headlong into gunfire to get close, that's the time to use it, not as a response to an already popped super that is raining death upon you. I will admit that a slight increase to the tether speed would be nice, but I don't think it needs to be instantaneous.

Honestly, it's a map awareness and timing thing, kinda like how suppressor grenades work. If you know a roaming super is heading your way, and have an idea of where they're coming from or have baited them to you somehow, pop it at the floor or near a door and dodge around a corner or something. As for the Nova Warp, for whatever reason it releases the charged explosion whenever the super ends, whether that was by the super timing out or by being suppressed. It's kinda jank, but still.

4 通の返信Imo you use Nightstalker for its neutral game and hold onto your super to combat another super. But you can't panic use it, you need to prefire/plan where you put it to be effective.

1 返信The projectile is pretty slow for what you're supposed to be using it for and the delay in activation of the Super itself doesn't help matters. It has another problem though and that is, for some reason, there's a tiny "hop" just before the super is released that can cause it to catch on ceilings above you. Sorta like what can happen to Nova Bomb Warlocks except the Warlock ends up suiciding when it happens. There are a lot of usability fixes they could do for Tether but they'll never end up doing it for one reason or another.

1 返信I think you might be using it wrong. Whenever I use top Tree night Stalker I do quite well
-
It's a timing thing. Which I think is good IMO. But I think some of the supers could use a bit more damage resistance on activation. When it works, and the timing is right, it is a great suppression tool, but timing is everything.

18 通の返信Tether is a annoying and everyone knows it, especially the invisibility that comes with it. Hunters have the best supers inside pvp. I think arc staff needs a nerf, it’s one thing to be able to dodge and black but the extra life is insane. All supers are killed with a headshot but the arc staff is so tanky that your amazing revoker headshot will not save you.

Sure it iss a roaming super and I can ballerina twirl trying to catch you while shoot but most away because its the best survival chance. Its strong but I have complained about its reflect flat out not working and get the automated can you record it response

2 通の返信Bottom tree nova bomb would like a word, with tether you can pop it and just place the tether between you and the super, weather it be a doorway or some other cover. And the tether distance is pretty f*cking good. The one thing that should be changed is how arcstaff/spectral can get tethered but still get a hit off because of the honestly insane dam near op hitbox and tracking.
