Make the primaries and abilities within our subclasses worth using. That is the first step. Secondly, stop allowing kill-assist to count as kills for stats farming. Teamshooting should always count as an assist no matter what and should count as a kill for you. Third, better lobby balancing because it is majority of the tryhards that teamshoot constantly.
Ah, I was curious if you thought it was a problem with the maps or the gametypes or something. For example, I think iron banner control is way more interesting than vanilla control since there's actually an incentive to push and seize upon an opportunity to capture the third control zone. Otherwise the game becomes a matter of "capture the two best zones and then hold the line farming kills and only capture the third if you want to flip spawns so you end up with the favorable of the two non-neutral zones" which is acceptable, just not as interesting as the gameplay created in iron banner.
I'm not sure if the kill-assists change would discourage team shooting for stat farmers. Halo Reach for instance had no concept of kill-assists yet teams would still travel in groups since that's a fairly important strategy in a team game. Even if you overall get fewer kills by traveling as a group, you also overall get fewer deaths from doing the same, so I still feel that's what those people would prefer to do.
Yea I doubt that idea I gave would help at all. As far as Iron Banner is concerned, it needs to change to Zone Control in my opinion. I like the idea of Control but when you have solos versus squads, it kills any idea of Control even being remotely decent for gameplay.
