Buff werewolf and horror story drop rates
Given the grind required to get these weapons I feel like they should be a guaranteed drop from the chests at the end.
2 runs in a row (opening 4 chests each time) and I didnt get either auto rifle. Even before this streak of bad luck I was, at best, only averaging 1 auto per 2 chests opened. Meaning that if your lucky your looking at 1 auto per 30 minutes of grinding.
Additionally, I think they should be added to the epic mystery bag loot pool and possibly even the free chest at the end of the forest run if not the weekly bounties.
I mean this is a limited time event and in the past, werewolf was able to be farmed simply by buying mystery bags with candy making it much easier to farm the rolls and making up for the RNG nature of the drop rates.
EDIT: I'm beginning to suspect there could be a bug with FOTL auto rifle drops, as I dawned on me that I haven't received either auto since completing the cache cow triumph (open 30 chests) as I'm currently up to about 50 chests and the last 20 have yet to yield fotl autos. A few others who have commented who are also over the 30+ mark, seem to be having difficulties getting these auto rifles to drop.

1 返信Honestly, the drop rates are not bad at all, you just need to be doing the right kinds of activities. I'm consistently getting 2 Ciphers to drop from Nightfalls, including the OG Nightfalls which can easily be solo'ed in less than 10 minutes. Lake of Shadows and Inverted Spire are both this week and super easy. Then when completing a Haunted Forest, I'm typically getting 2-3 Autos from the chests at the end. Most of the rolls I've gotten have been hot garbage, but the drop rate is pretty decent.

2 通の返信Man I don't know how the rest of you are getting them, but I've done a ton of Nightfalls, and gotten a ton of cipher decoders. My friend wants to do the forest, for collection purposes I guess, so I was running it with him to help him out among some exotic quests and whatnot. After 5 or 6 run throughs of that forest, opening every chest, every time, not a single rifle out of those chests. Nothing but Festival currency, blue gear, useless purple gear to break down, and a few masks that I just couldn't care less about. Same for him, nothing useful

4 通の返信The mystery loot bag contents should have been planned out better. I really don't need more umbral engrams. I received one piece of legendary gear with decent base stats. Cores are nice, but maybe a chance to see a prism? The haunted forest chests are another thing entirely. A chance to get a key back would have been a nice addition along with a perk on these weapons that would be ONLY on these weapons. Something like "fallen disruptor" or an incentive knowing the dlc is coming to actually make people want to sit through the grind for a reason on already horrible rng. And without knowing if this type of auto will be buffed, there's just better options. Bungie is hit or miss with alot of things, this is a miss. Double nightfall rewards is nice, this is just ugly. I've had the keys done since Saturday and I still have a bunch of material and keys with no real reason to do any more.

1 返信Good thing they are really bad weapons and best not used. I just need 45 of those stupid decypers and I have trouble getting myself to do it, can't imagine insane farm I would need for good roles on those 2 weapons. Events always been bad in Destiny 2 but somehow each year they make them worse.

5 通の返信I’m telling u, the collections rolls are all u need. Bungie wants u to think that if u don’t get 3 versions of whatever the god rolls are for both autos, that you’ll be missing out. U won’t be. The archetype is trash. There will be all new loot to chase soon enough. Focus on getting 45 cipher decoders for the Ascendant Lens and grind currency for Beyond Light.

1 返信I think the both auto rifles share the same spot as the masks in the loot pool. So I think if you keep getting masks, you're just behind. I've done 4 or 5 runs and I've gotten like 8 Braytech Werewolf and 4 Horror Story. But I've had all the masks from previous years so I think I get the rifles more often. Also, I have very bad in-game luck so there are probably others out there getting a rifle per chest.

Pretty weird how RNG works. I've only gotten 34 Ciphers in 26 hours of play, 3 of those were from the quests.... But I did get 4 horror story and 2 Braytech so far. In the video I posted I got 3 AR at the same time. 2 horror story and a Werewolf. All had trash rolls, I dismantled them
