There has been so much burnout that small things like the shader system have fallen out of focus. How about we just unlock colors and we get to assign the colors to sections in the 4 block system like the emotes. That may help save system resource space on the menu UI since it won't have to track all the different shaders. It could rollout with the "turn armor to cosmetics". Just a thought.

Controlling the hue, intensity, and saturation levels of each of the four colors which make the respective shaders would also be a nice and viable option. They did it in Soul Calibur 4; they can sure as hell do it in this game.

8 通の返信Demon_XXVIIにより編集済み: 10/12/2020 3:19:50 AMShaders Simple Earn a shader Get the Four Qudrants (numbered 1-4 clockwise) Allow a rotation of Shader 90° axis clockwise (this opens up any of the four quadrants to be the primary dominant colour (Quadrant 1 = 90%) - with the other 3 working in diminishing returns Q2 = 6% Q3 + 3% Q4 = 1%) To be rotated at leisure - and applied for glimmer (a full preview & application through collections - tick box selection) Put some Shader modules in that have 4 blank quadrants - we will call these Exotic Shader Templates This can then allow for a selection of colours to be added from a palette (coupled with the cost of a prism per 4 hues) - to the four quadrants - available from the highest content - Dungeons/Raids/GM NF/IB/Comp & Trials Creating unique styles & options for Bungie to design Exotic Shaders also completely change ALL exotic armour colourways & negating that awful random colour that ruins the style/shows up on specific designs Although, I expect this idea to break the engine And Eververse will never allow customisations over monetisation

18 通の返信Warframe did coloring your armor right. Youd had palettes with diffrent shades of color you chose what piece you wanted to color what colors to out on that piece and design of the colors. The fact that warframe is older than destiny 1 and they were able to get the simplest things right should say how behind bungie is.

This is one of the few things EA actually got right with Anthem. I spent hours creating custom colors for each part. But my goto color scheme for colossus and ranger were Iron man themed and for those I somewhat cheated and looked up the colors and their respective RGB codes

2 通の返信Maybe they'll add that feature to the game and roll it out at Eververse store for you to pay with real money. Only thing Bungo focuses on right now is how to make new things and sell it at Eververse with real money. Game feels empty lately, the most creative thing they've done with this game is to put you on an endless Hamster Wheel grind and hook a chain around your neck. Game feels like a Digital Slavery! If they could sell "Bounties" in Eververse with real money, they would! Eververse is actually a code, it means Cash Grab universe is here to stay, Forever! LMFAO! Bungie Logic!

1 返信The way I think it should work is: Shaders are no longer per use items. Once you have a shader, you have it for the life if the game. You have 3 pages of Shaders in the Appearance menu of your gear piece, the shaders that are available there are assigned from the collections menu. That was the basics, now for some advanced features: Shader colors can be swapped up and down or left and right, and rotated clockwise (so that top becomes right, right becomes bottom, etc. Any color from a shader can be edited with a color wheel. Or check this out: Bungie gives us all of the above PLUS a blank shader with which we set our own color with many finiah and material options (matte, gloss, metallic...steel, carbon fiber, glass, cloth, leather...) I wouldn't even be opposed to having the materials and finishes take the place of Shaders as Triumph rewards and what not. (I wouldn't sign off on Eververse, but come on, it would be inevitable...)

Valeにより編集済み: 10/11/2020 10:25:31 PMThem being consumables is anoyying also the system is very limiting so cycling the colors around on shaders would give 1 shader 8 ways it can look on you... Also mixing shaders together... Also shaders on exotic weapons.

1 返信man i wish they were just an unlock from a vendor interface instead of using 100-200 bag slots because they are such a pain to delete

Ghostfire239により編集済み: 10/12/2020 8:19:35 AMAlso Bungie needs to show all the colours of a shader. Amethyst veil shows no blue on it and yet with certain armour sets it has blue cloth. Bungie should also let us ignore certain colours on shaders. That way we can have 2 colour looks on more armour sets. I they need to just scrap shaders in general. They’re a terrible customization option. Just let us pick our colours so we can have full control over how we look. I personally want a black and purple shader, but unfortunately Melchizedek Bramble is the closest thing we have to that and it turns any cloth you have in to a bright pink, and turns leathers into a worn out brown. I play hunter and so we got a lot of cloth and leather. As you can imagine, getting the black and purple look on the armour I want is borderline impossible. Shaders sucks and they need to be scraped for a colour palette system where we pick and choose how we look. We can unlock certain colour palettes by completeing certain things. Ex: you can get a raid themed colour palettes by doing that raid and it could either be a random drop or earned by doing raid challenges.
