The only reason I've even been logging in each week is to run menagerie and the damn sparrow part of SotP to finish hive and fallen mods, to be "ready" for Beyond Light.... Actually somehow managed to get the last 2 fallen mods I needed tonight after months of doing this crap (And somehow getting 2 mods out of 3 runs), only to read the twab and how these mods are all getting deprecated.
What a waste of my time.
EDIT----
Hell yeah.. keep upvoting this... give it traction, make it visible. thanks to everyone who has responded and upvoted. Appreciate it

4 通の返信I'm going to upvote because while I believe it was necessary to balance the game in some ways, I also feel like Bungie knew players were grinding and didn't bother saying anything. This is why FOMO is bad people.

I have posted a similar topic about the raid release date. We love the game. We want to spend hours preparing for New Light. But we need to schedule around real life commitments. What is so hard about letting us know things far in advance. If you are even considering a date, or a few of them say so. Most people are reasonable and will understand what is really going on. But yeah I wasted hours helping friends run the sparrow. SMH

6 通の返信I didn't farm them, but when I saw:
this is something we've had our eye on for quite some time,
I was gobsmacked. Then they should have bloody well mentioned it. MONTHS ago. But they want your engagement figures while they plan to invalidate your effort in YET. ANOTHER. WAY.

5 通の返信Grind nothing anymore. None of it has staying power. Its no longer about the god roll its about the good enough roll. And never - buy - silver.

It’s unfortunate because only during this season did I finish getting all the mods. Can’t say I’m too surprised, as Bungie always shifts the goal post every year. I’m not too sure if raid armor in D1 was limited to raids (certain perks were). While leviathan raids had a perk limit, the others didn’t. That’s on them. Maybe they can add artifact mods to correspond to that enemy type’s season. Then again, I’d use those mods for end game triumphs

2 通の返信I’m going to tell you the truth and you take it how you want to. Bungie dosent give a shit. They never have. The only time things are rapidly fixed is when there featured on one of the top destiny 2 man baby, crybaby streamers stream. Beyond that they don’t care. They nerf guns and armor based on the pc version, which is almost a different game in terms of load times, movement and control. To my knowledge and I might be wrong, I’ve watched one of their dev things where they announced a new season, and this was like a year or two ago before shadow keep.. and it looked like they had more than 20 employees. I might be wrong but the way this game releases content, fixes glitches and bugs it seems like they have 2 people actively working on the game at any given time. I myself have played a lot of this game and the superior game that came before. I’ve watched and tolerated a lot of shit bungies done, but I finally got burnt out after my 900th gambit match. It all clicked when I got that piece of shit bad omens rocket launcher for the 8000th time. I asked myself why am I playing this game? What’s it all for? Every season the LL goes up and this was around jokers wild and if I’m not mistaken ( might of been before or after ) they just bumped every one to 750 at the start of the next season, making my time invested worthless. Why play and grind when I can just sit out and come back and go up in light without playing? That and the nerfs to lunas howl rendering my time invested getting better at PVP worthless. Now I’m on the fence about not playing the game again, recently I helped my friends that are newish through the outbreak and the pit and I had fun teaching and showing stuff, but after they got off I found myself looking at the map screen and not wanting to go to any planet, or do anything because what’s the point? My gear is just gonna be pissed away and light capped, the armor I grinded for and invested materials in.. like they have a lot to work out before this game is actually enjoyable again. That’s my 2 cents. Don’t get your hopes up because Bungie will let you down time and time again. That’s all they can do anymore.

1 返信Bungie have been shitting on you guys for years and every time you act surprised. Either accept the fact that you like getting shit on or shut up about it frankly its tiresome.

4 通の返信Mijameshにより編集済み: 10/9/2020 10:22:38 PMThis reminds me of farming for the Toast emote every week back when it had a 1% drop rate. 1% and no drop protection is utterly DISGUSTING. I ended up spending 42 hours on that awful raid, with many awful, rude, time-wasting players, to get it. Now, they just give you it for finishing, which is what it should have been all along!! What a vile, despicable company!!!

They let their streamers post up videos telling their followers to get the taken mods from Last Wish, because it was essential gear for Beyond Light. You know Bungie works closely with these guys, but let them put the message out there and did nothing to correct it. How is this not intentional?

4 通の返信This is how bungie works now, welcome! It's all about keeping the players grinding hours for some thing just to become useless in subsequent seasons

If there's anything I have learned from playing this game is to forego the grind altogether and play only what you enjoy. Otherwise, you will be sorely disappointed. But yes, you are right, they should have mentioned this ahead of time.

6 通の返信The way they did this was very disingenuous. They could have mentioned they were getting rid of these mods back when they announced sunsetting. But they didn’t. They could have mentioned it when moments of triumph began. Knowing they were encouraging players to grind old content. But they didn’t. They especially could have mentioned it when they decided to make all raid Armor have a power cap that would last for the next year. It was only natural to assume the reason for extending the life of this Armor was to extend the life of its applicable mods. But hey, they didn’t. I agree 100 percent that these mods need to go. But Bungie saw their data. They knew Many players were grinding like crazy to get these mods with very low drop rates to prep for beyond light in a extended season. So they left that little piece of information out. In a loot based game you better be sure that the loot your players are playing for is going to be relevant. Especially when you have very stingy drop rates for this loot. You’ve encouraged players to run old content. And you’ve put everything in place to hint that these mods would last another year. Next time Please speak up.

1 返信I'm guessing this company like's to lie a lot and crap on player's going by these post's so you all know im new to this

They should hire someone who actually plays Destiny and ask him for advice. How could they not reveal this earlier? It's nonsense. They don't seem to understand our point of view. I love the game itself, but the management in the company is not up to the task. Be up front with us, don't keep info from us. We aren't spoiled children, we want to know what's going to happen to our favorite game. Like when the raid is coming out. Bungie management needs to change, too many people are sick of them and are leaving because of them. The changes are fine, repurposing with armaments is too op for sure.
