Agreed weith one exception. The Lament looks cool and sounds cool in theory. However, with mechanics of barrier champions, I'm skeptical of how viable an option it will be. Barrier champions are broken. Their ability to become impervious to damage unless using anti-barrier ammo while still being able to attack and heal at the same time isn't a challenge to the gameplay. Especially when the most overpowering champion is the cabal chain gunner. Using a sword to walk slowly up to it while it consumes ammo blocking in the hopes you'll be able to hit the enemy doesnt sound like good, flowing combat gameplay. Also, Vex barrier champions are usually placed out of range of melee damage since their more often a sniper enemy class. So what good is a sword then? Not saying its going to be a bad exotic, but thinking of current gameplay mechanics, I'd rather be using a gun against these enemies than a sword.
