So Beyond Light is being described as a "major expansion", but is it?
Let's compare against two previous major expansions.
TTK - $40.
4 new strikes.
9 new PVP maps.
Full raid.
Forsaken - $40.
4 new strikes.
9 new PVP maps
Full raid.
Beyond Light - $40.
1 new strike.
0 new PVP maps.
A "raid" ( on balance, i suspect we're looking at something the size of SOTP or GS.)
Surely Bungie are holding back a ton of new BL playable content?

You mean like in Forsaken, when you finish all the story missions on the Tangled shore, the Dreaming City opens up. It is possible, Bungie does love their secrets and surprises. The problem is, Bungie told everyone about the Dreaming City in the Forsaken previews. Granted, most of us weren’t expecting it to be so big, so gorgeous, or for it to have as much content as it ended up having, but we did know about long before Forsaken launched. My big fear is that Beyond Light is only as big as Shadowkeep. I hated Shadowkeep. Shadowkeep was by far the worst fall update/ expansion Destiny has ever had.

Dude idk about you I spent more time FALLIN through the Dreaming City map, than I did tryna to explore it. And than to have the TimeGated missions, we all explored Dreaming City to find EVERYTHING, and than got bored after the First Week cause of Time Gated missions and a "promise," of a dynamic changing world, which fall flat on a Very Static unchanging World. Foresaken was good up until that horrible transition from the Spider on the Tangled Shores, to the Dreaming City was so chunky and shanked it took alot of Bug fixes and mission fine tuning to get to the Dreaming City you and I are running around in today. Dreaming City had the name for being the most glitched open world in this game. Yes is was beautiful, but BUGGED.

You forget that with beyond light they are actually deleting content. So, not only does Beyond light have less content, it actually has a negative amount of content. - 2 or 3 planets - 100 to 150 guns So you’re paying for and installing LESS game :D Also, I promise you the update where they do nothing but delete stuff is still going to take 3 hours to install lol.

Azrael-Symphonyにより編集済み: 10/2/2020 5:51:02 PMContent is hard in a year that they have seen record profits. From players playing, to people leaving due to issues with the game. minimum effort for maximum profits. They know suckholes will pay into that Business scheme and they have to appease investors rather than making actual Content, they have dead lines to meet.

Northernにより編集済み: 10/1/2020 5:06:43 PMLack of resources? Probably explains why BL has one new strike and no new PVP maps. Could also explain why BL was delayed by 2 months? The last time we had a full raid was Last Wish. Activision, and their design studios, have since departed.
