Iron Banner Matchmaking Needs Work
The power balance among teams is virtually non-existent.
I fly solo most of the time, but consistently get matched against multiple 2 and 3 man fireteams if not a full 6.
Also when solo, the 2 and 3 man fireteams are often on the opposing side versus mine.
I literally just played 2 matches against the same 6 stack of mostly above 1059LL players where my team is made up of mostly sub 1054LL players including at least 2 sub 1010LL players. We get mercy ruled. The game breaks up those teams and then matches me against the same 6 stack the very next game... with a mostly sub 1054LL team again... and again we get mercy ruled. I'd like to wish bad things to the people responsible for this particular lie.

Calling it Matchmaking would be a compliment. It is a desperate attempt to put 12 players together. Yesterday I played 13 matches and my team won 2 of them. Which is amazing for average players like me, is the decline in skill when you got no chance to win. It is really frustrating to be a blueberry among blueberries.

It's a terrible experience right now for Solo and especially if you are average to below average. As another poster said, Freelance is finally out next season however the genuine fear is they continue to be farming exercises for better players at the expense of the rest. SBMM 2.0 ....**M.U.S.T**....happen.

every single match i played tonight was mercy ruled. was tore a new one by beloved and gnawing hunger every game. most cases never got to pull the Triger more than twice in a face off. ready to quit the thorn quest over this crucible in general is just so super meta heavy right now. but IB crucible is a meta ruled sweat fest on steroids.

Agreed. I love Iron Banner. It has always been my favorite event in Destiny PvP but this seasons match making has been atrocious. 3/4 matches are mercy's by either team which makes for very short and rather unenjoyable matches. Please fix this. Thanks!

If you are complaining you cant compete(not win just perform well) vs a premade thats on you. But again your scores show your are a counter weight so I guess its more on your teamates for not carrying you hard enough. You can also avoid getting put into late stated games by playing in your own premade. I know you dont like my response as its an elitest view. But hey that little "urk" you felt reading it, thats your heart of hearts telling you the truth hurts.

No one pushes to the objectives. They don't hold them once they have them. They make people try to capture alone, instead of joining them. Which would shorten the time anyone is stuck on the point. They don't force power plays. It's like people don't even want to compete.

Yep. Even when not having 6 stacks the team balancing is horrendous. I have seen matches with solos and a pair, all but one of the high K/D average players were on one team with all the lowest on the other.
