once autos are nerf sidearms will be the meta
Bungie will nerf 600s then the people who only use meta will flock to side arms cuz they’re the easiest primary to use(aside from autos)and the only other primary that can beat them in their range is TLW
Also smg’s rn aren’t good enough to counter or offset how prevalent sidearm are, and will be

Sidearms are only effective up to 15-18m and only if you're actually good with them, average player that picked up sidearm will struggle to hit shots with it beyond 10m, and most of primary weapon engagements are about 20m, so for that reason alone they're not gonna be meta. Once autos are nerfed, its back to HCs and maybe some high impact pulses in mix.

3 通の返信Have we reached the stage where we're trying to identify what nerfs we want after we get the current nerf? God I hate the PvP in this game for so many reasons, not the least of which is the nerf herd.

Is that why there used so much? Oh wait .. there not Furthest one up the list rn is Travellers as 15th most used. And that’s mainly because it’s a week old. Sidearms are strong yeah with the best ttk’s of any primary but your forgetting the main engagements you encounter with sidearms are in shotgun territory. They require movement. Therefore they should have a good ttk to make them viable otherwise there useless.
