I’m tired of seeing someone with all the answers (Bungie) fail the test (the game)
The seasonal model is garbage.
The lack of staff at Bungie is very obvious, I’m not paying into a franchise that can’t deliver sufficient content.
Even though forsaken was D2s high point, they changed the game model again.
The last 3 years of D2 was spent catching up to D1, yet missed the mark and removing all content that got us this far.
Reskins, reskins and more reskins. Why would anyone want to use a gun that looks exactly like another gun? Laziness at its best. Trials maps, armour and weapon all reskins with a glow. No time to explain back as the pre order bonus? Come on...
Removes trials as it’s in a broken state. Returns trials in the exact same broken state.
Brings back factions in the most boring way then states that it’s the communities doing as it “wasn’t popular enough” you mean you made garbage content and no one played?
I’ve seen more expression and life in graveyard than our main character of the game. Never mind voice lines, like we’re playing as a brick wall. My ghost resurrected a wall.
Load times are shocking
Every new season introduces bugs that are present even into the season after.
Markets the game as F2P while price tagging any DLC that you need to progress.
Every season is like a Groundhog Day simulator. Wake up, grind your artefact, do bounties, repeat next season.
Neververse is over flowing with goodies, every season, every week. Scarlet keep still no strike loot yet 6 scarlet keep themed items in the store a couple seasons ago. Only decent loot is payed for.
The transparency and communication is beyond a joke, never mind beyond light. Radio silence after every content release failure, not a peep when players can’t log in for months due to watercress....oh but when the games on deaths doorsteps it’s all “we can do better the next DLC is better please buy” then the cycle starts again.
I’ve never seen so much inconsistency in a game franchise. D1 was fun, TTK was great, ROI was a nice send of. Now let’s see what bungie learned from their, and I’ll quote Bungie. Their “Beta” as they called D1.....Well, we got D2, a lifeless shell, to COO, a content dry DLC. The ups and down of warmind. The high point of forsaken only to bring us all back to reality with shadowkeep ahahah. It’s hilarious at this point.
Any decent feedback falls On deaf ears.
Where are the exotic mods for champions? It’s been a year since they were introduced. Bungie take to long to respond to anything like this. Why? Because they don’t play their own game.
Where is the extra vault space? How can D1s vault be better than D2?
Every sequel offers something new. D2 gave us more plates to stand on and orbs to dunk. Where is the innovation? The fresh ideas?
Still no in game chat. Never seen multiplayer game with so little ways to communicate and match make.
Even after D1 Bungo still don’t understand the dire need of separating PVE and PVP when it comes to nerfs.
Nerfs, nerfs and more nerfs.
Their actually planning on bringing back D1 strikes, raids and locations in 2020, while adding one new strike etc. Embarrassing having to rely on old content to beef up what’s available.
Bungie are, have been, and will be working on their new game with Netease for a long time. Their focused on it, while the small studio works on destiny content as usual. Why would I want to play their game on the side? Their cash shop money maker. Throw up a few new missions, a strike, a public event! Easy! Then fill the cash shop and season passes will all the goodies and the community will pay for the rest.
Beyond shite will be Bungies next attempt at a DLC without Activision of the two extra studios. They have admitted content is hard and they can’t pull of a sufficient amount yet stick a full priced price tag on every DLC lmfao.
Sure I probably missed a few more reasons.
Now I have another list of why the forums are so funny if your interested. Many people fail to see the amusing side of this place.
Some thaughts on your thoughts.
It is not that you cannot progress in terms of reaching the power cap if you do not own the DLC, it is that you are lacking a ton of opportunities to reach that goal. In which the current system should die in a fire and be replaced with something like:
- Remove power level, replace with just level.
- Have you level up each season via exp = Levelling.
- Have gear drop tied to your level as such by random in that, it can drop: 1 higher, 1 lower or the same as your current level.
They should just remove trials and that insidious requirement for solstice armour.
I would not mind if they bring back factions since they are removing a whole bunch of vedors, that does leave some room for their comeback. Frankly, I feel they should remove tokens as a concept and integrate a way to put their rewards into the rewards we get from playing and completing activities.
Bungie have failed to make people connect to our character(s)
At the very least it would seem they are intent on changing the reward structure in that we can focus our time playing the content we enjoy for the relevant rewards. For instance with the upcoming ghost changes we will be able to earn perks that reward high rarity materials from even causal playlists and we will not need to earn all of our bright dust on 3 separate characters (They mentioned this a while back).
They have by a technicality started allowing exotics to have champion mods attached to them… Albeit only pulse rifles… and only unstoppable the chest piece artifact mod this season. Hopefully they expand on that quickly!
Even Warframes conclave has separate balancing lol.
Sure I do not mind the other list.
