See, the thing is, does it matter if society is worth it? Because whether you like it or not, it'll keep on existing. So to that end, it doesn't matter how cruel or kind we are in the grand scheme of things. It only matters [i]to us.[/i] Humanity has lived on this far only through hope and kindness, even when we we're relished in ignorant hate, those who chose kindness and wisdom are the ones who will be seen as the hero of their generation. Point is, as long as we continue to chose compassion, so long as just one person chooses kindness, over hate, power, and destruction, then there truly is hope.

That’s good. Positive and inspiring. But here’s the catch: our planet is being used up at an incredible rate. Whatever we do to each other as humans won’t make a difference if there isn’t a planet to live on.

I won’t get into that here for obvious reasons. But I just have to hope that the man upstairs will take pity and help us out. We could really use it in this country that is going to shit. I’m very close to considering moving out of county when I’m of age, if this continues I don’t want my future kids/family dealing with it.
