For the love of god, FIX PVP! It is literally as simple as adding an anti 1 shot mechanic, a global like 25% less damage and healing and nerfing these op mechanics even more but making it way easier to hit with them so that people who haven't played pvp for thousands upon thousands of hours are the only once able to enjoy it. I refuse to believe that PvP is all about loot collection and i refuse to accept that a fix will never come. The rest of the game is okay, so why does PvP have to be a massive mess when the actual mechanics behind it is so fun? Yes i'm salty and i won't stop being salty until you fix this addiction mess of a broken PvP game. Oh and ps, stop trying to make me pay $60 for an expansion. I won't ever pay more than $30 or even $20 for it and i'm 99.99% sure there are people out there who agree. There was a time when i could but i'm not 15 anymore, relying on a $500 monthly credit, i'm an adult now and anything game related over $30 are a steal for me. I don't understand why game companies does this, stop falling victim to greed, there are other games out there and i want to return to destiny happy and confident to play and have fun regardless if it's PvE or PvP. And about the previous topic a second solution might be to just reduce the quest progress needed to complete grenade launcher, sniper and shotgun related quests by like 75%. Final straw which made me post this? I keep seeing the same weapons killing me over and over and about 50%+ of those are snipers, shotguns or grenade launchers, last match was especially frustrating. I can go in with the same weapon setup of an auto rifle and the witherhoard and go 2.0+ k/d and the next game a 0.5 k/d or less because enemy is running abusive weapons on a match my weapons don't excel at likely because it's a very open area. I just don't know why i'm trying anymore, Destiny 2 PvP is ruining all the fun i COULD have had if PvP at the very least was realistically balanced and nothing you say can change that opinion. I have already tried getting these op weapons for myself but i'm not about to spend a thousand hours getting good at them only to still suffer from these same broken 1 shot mechanic that never gets fixed. All bungie has to do is move all specials to the heavy slot again and keep improving primary weapon ttk to auto rifle levels and thats it.

I remember paying £70 for SNES games like 30 years ago. Counting for inflation that’s the roughly €150 today accounting for inflation. That was for a 16-bit game. Gaming today from a consumer standpoint is relatively inexpensive by comparison.

The sheer number of matches that get called early due to runaway scores is all the proof I need to see that SBMM is absolutely required for PVP to even have a chance to be enjoyable for the average player. All we are is cannon fodder for the PVP elites so they can maintain an artificially high k/d. If top-tier players were forced to only play top-tier players, their k/d would quickly level out to near 1/1.

People, allegedly, wanted all these skilless OHK weapons, Special weapons for Special players, OHK melees, OHK nades, OHK knives, Super team wipes. That's what I die to, all the time. No one wants a gunfight. I rejoice when someone kills me with a bit of skill without a cheesey shotgun or a cheesey Charge. But that's what people, allegedly, wanted.

Have you tried not peaking painfully obvious sniper lanes? Have you tried maybe using a special weapon to handle that titan or better yet, not being dumb enough to catch a shoulder to the face? Have you tried hiding in banner or comp?
