listen old man, bungie can’t stop people from grabbing your IP because they don’t have proper servers. playing destiny on console is a risk that everyone takes. someone from LFG can join your lobby/party and boot you off as soon as you kill the boss if they wanted to.

From a Dad coming up on 60 years good for you that you are playing! My kid plays as well as his Grandfather on his Mom's side so you guys aren't an anomaly. I finally received my first notification that a player has been suspended for cheating thanking me for reporting them. It's nice to know they are doing something about the reports but the ironic thing is that if they had anti-cheat in the first place they wouldn't have all these problems. If you are looking to join a clan with some old farts look up Pixel Annihilators. We have Dad's, grand dads and everyone is chill. What we need to do is get a group of 12 of us old farts together in a private Crucible and have a great time. Also thank you for your service to this great country!

While it sucks what happened to you, there is no authority who will seriously prosecute someone for DOSing another person or entity in an online game. Now if they interrupted commercial activity, that's another story...
