I swear I whiffed with this ability more times than I've actually hit someone with it.

2 通の返信I wish warlock melee never got nerfed.... you see the hypocrisy? Just do as the warlocks do and adapt to the changes because we're all in the same boat now and yeah I think melee for all classes should be viable not a select few but until titans, warlocks, and hunters stop complaining about how everyone else is better than them we won't get anywhere near better balance since we need to stop being emotional and think more logically about where the problems are. Also I didn't mean to sound mean, I do actually agree that nerfs are hard to adjust to.

I think at least 4 times in 2 days of PvP last week during IB, a Titan just whiffed right past with their charge.... Those were easy cleanup kills for me 😂. But man, I felt a touch bad for those titans. Just a touch. 🙏🏻

3 通の返信That sounds like a you issue honestly, shoulder charge is one of the most brain dead abilities in the game. The amount of times I've tracked someone and hit them with shoulder charge in ways that don't even make sense is immeasurable. The fact that you just teleport to enemies that are easily 8 feet above you is ridiculous or the fact that you can run from someone and pull a 180 and 1 hit them with something that has the tracking of a heat seeking rocket is also absurd. Throw in the skullfort, practically giving you the OG D1 shoulder charge and you can steamroller an entire lobby without firing a single round.

As a Titan main, I can say I main the Titan solely because of the shoulder charge. It’s my favorite ability in the game by far. It’s a super powerful ability and has been nerfed in the past and I completely understand why. But the issue is that the shoulder charge is just so.. buggy. Sometimes an enemy will be literally in the center of my screen, and I’ll shoulder charge right through them. Other times an enemy will literally be OFF MY SCREEN (playing at almost maxed fov too btw), and my shoulder charge will magnetize to them. Isn’t that the point of the previous nerfs? To prevent this from happening?? It’s still happening. Nerf it or don’t nerf it, I don’t care. Just make it more consistent and less buggy.

15 通の返信Nothing in PvP can be better than what Hunters have. Hunters must have the highest K/D in the game. Nerfs happen when either of those criteria are met.

Hammer Strike was reverted 100% Seismic Striker was reverted 50% Shield Bash was reverted 0% 2) This is hard to explain As of now if you charge above someone it will not lock onto the enemy itself but lock onto them from above without do any actual damage, obviously, because you arent actually hitting them. If I charge above you I shouldnt stop above you as if I hit you... I should cover max in air distance I would covered as if there was no enemy there.

4 通の返信Some whiny hunter got killed once and started the nerf brigade. Probably managed to get throwing knives buffed in the process too! I swear I was playing in Gambit and managed to get hit by a knife that flew clear over from a PvP match clear on the other side of the system!!!

I was just thinking about what makes it bad other than the short stops. It's a straight line. I cant turn during the animation. Any shotgun will kill you while you run straight at them like a crayon eating idiot! (99% of my deaths) I cant turn a corner and hit you even if I wanted to. Let me "Aim" during the animation and we good.

Only time I ever “whiff” with it (without it really being my bad) is when someone is even barely above me. It completely misses them. Before the vertical tracking used to be bs, but now it seems like even the tiniest difference in verticality means a miss.

the ability to hit wasn't nerfed, just the ability to track vertically and >90° on the ground. SC isn't regging because melee and sword hit detection have been terrible for forever and whatever happened when swords were changed seems to have made it worse
