Microsoft puts all of their games out on PC anyway, and Sony have started doing the same whilst also reiterating at every event that they want to do more and more with the new generation games. Im already playing whatever game I want to play at a native 4k, and I'm able to use literally whatever peripheral I want. I'm just struggling to see a reason to spend money on a new console. Cross-play is also becoming more and more of a standard with every game so I can still kick it with my console homies, except this way I don't have to pay a subscription to access multiplayer (which I've never liked the idea of).

Ahh, just the consoles. I thought you meant gaming in general. I don't see either Sony's or Nintendo's exclusives going to PC, mind.
