Light needs to f**king matter!!!
I've been playing Destiny since 2014. It wasn't long that I realized that light was just a gateway to new content. If a mission, like whisper of the worm, or zero hour, is suggested 750 and I'm at 1050...then let me breeze through it. It's old content and I want to have some FUN!!! Do you remember FUN, Bungie???? I don't want to lfg a group. I want to run the mission on an alt character because it is interesting, it is additional content, and it is fun...but when I'm getting destroyed by 750's when I'm 1050 it is BS!!!!
All light matters!!!!

1 返信Idk man, i just played an activity recommended light 750 and had it good in my kisser by a mere thrall melee cause of [i]blackout[/i] if light matter probably i won't have fun cursing Bungo devs and Luke Smithers for their fine cheap difficulty manufacturing 😁

6 通の返信Bungie drops your light, not increases the enemies. Load into a top level NF on Io then go run the Control event. Everyone but you, can still kill enemies. You can, with several mags of ammo and a lot of time. Your light is weakened to adjust to the events.

3 通の返信You are right about the grind to level just to access content. It is also a colossal mistake not to have a mode where light level really matters. Try playing patrols with two 7 year olds and see how much "FUN" they have. Better yet, a normal strike. Even when you get them plus 50 light they have the same difficulty as you do. They do not have FUN. Then try missions in Warframe with OP frames... Guess which game they ask to play. How many people say their number 1 reason for playing Destiny... or any video game is to be Challenged???? News Flash for Bungie Management - Challenge does not equal FUN. Levelling up each season just to try activities has become a chore. Definitely NOT FUN. In terms Bungie should appreciate: Imagine if just 10% of the 17 million plus dormant player accounts came back to have FUN on a weekly basis. Destiny may be making a profit, but not nearly what it could be. There is room in Destiny for both Challenge and FUN.

2 通の返信"getting destroyed by 750s when I'm 1050" You're getting destroyed by 1050s. 750 is the recommended level but when you go into an activity and get killed, the recommended power will almost always be whatever your level is.

4 通の返信Lol. So true. Remember when we were like level 3 or close and the immune yellow bar in the lower level in the cosmodrome? We should read immune to all 750 enemies right?

3 通の返信I wish I could upvote this more than once. I am not looking for a cakewalk in any activity. I just want my light level to be appreciated which is probably way too much to ask from Bungie as it helps the player.

10 通の返信Even nightfalls that are 820 kill me with three shots and I'm 1065. Power exists just to gate activities but when you overcome those activities and reach a much higher power level you're still weak. Bungie thinks this game must be sweaty, they don't want players to feel powerful. They don't know what fun is.

Bungie is throttling and etc because they trying to extend it until November They have extra Glory XP for crucible, nightfall and sometimes gambit. But for leveling up with BS pinnacles, it’s not happening. I understand your point. It’s annoying 750 light enemies blasting you in 750 nightfalls Sad state bungos ( purposely misspelled ) Also you forgot to add the foot stomping mechanics. I played nightfall 750 or whatever And the foot stomping mechanics are now +250% now. I’m flying out of the tv all the time or splatting next to a cave wall.

The first 7 names I looked at hadn't completed a gm and they are complaining that the game is too easy. That's the equivalent of complaining a game is too easy, but refusing to switch the difficulty to hard mode. And of course yes, some people will say gms are easy or are "artificially" difficult, which is an opinion I don't share but can empathise with for people who have mastered that content. Those people who don't try or complete the hard content and just quote that they played since D1 are really becoming cliche at this point.

3 通の返信Enemies need to have a leveling system that matches with our light level but maybe -10 less then our level. Say a missions Suggested level is 1030 You are 995, the strike level is still 1030 You are 1070, the strike level is 1060 Same for all game content

4 通の返信I wish there was a world tier system like Division. They nail power because you can raise the world to your level if you want a challege or keep it on tier 1 and trash through it OP if you are farming. I cant stand being 1080+ and being 2 shot on EDZ because it scales you down.....

It should matter, you have way more light than the cap at 400 in D1, so in theory everything should be almost three times easier than first game and you should be a one man army who can basically be on par with The Masterchief for alien slaying. But although you slay alien gods you never absorb their power to become a god level bulletsponge tank. Read this humorously, Lol.

1 返信This in itself shows how confused Bungie is with regards to Game Development. Bungie decides to alter the game by utilizing FOMO via the Seasonal model to drive player engagement and creates a bounty grind for levelling up whereas your level never really matters. I’m 1093 and with the exception of being able to take a couple extra bullets in the 1080 activities for everything else in the game my light level makes no difference. I know about scaling and how it works but the issue is why design your game around XP and leveling up doing bounties when your power doesn’t matter? Why have GM Nightfalls scale the player to 1075 instead of letting the player utilize the highest level possible? Absolutely clueless Game Development.

All light matters!!!![/quote] I have to agree. I couldn’t do certain things like a 750 adept nightfall until I was a specific power level that was even above 750. So if Bungie is placing a power level on being “allowed” to do an activity, they should keep that activity at that power level they made a person reach. They can add extra levels for people who want to do it “to their” level like they did later on with Crota’s End and VoG Raids in D1. Max level people could still go and do the original low level ones and breeze through them for fun if they wanted to. They’ve copied and re-hashed / re-skinned content throughout the history of the franchise; so there is no excuse they can’t apply the same thing to D2 raids / strikes / etc. P.S. There’s no reason a dreg or acolyte or whatever should be able to kill me on patrol in the time it takes me to swap out a weapon or two in the menu when I’m at 1083 power.
