So after a week of play I have reached over power level 1050 and have about 10 fun exotics. I didn’t even have to complete many story quest either.
For me in my opinion what would make the game even more awesome is adding tons more guns and armors, shaders, transmog, and expanding the Gambit style PVE with new maps, enemies, rewards ect.
As far as PVP, I’d like to see an increase in Heavy Ammo. If I’m getting one shotted by a Hand Cannon or One Shotted by a rocket doesn’t bother me. I enjoy the game.
The only thing I don’t enjoy is how fast I can die in PVP no matter what build or sub class.
I’m a Titan.... supposed to be a Tank... Heaviest armor in the game and awesome exotics for mass protection or damage. Yet if an enemy spots me and jumps on me first I’m dead in about 1.2. seconds. I can do the same if I spot them first.
I enjoy PvP and just wish it was better by the fights lasting longer and more exotic guns being useful in the game.
I remember playing Quake 3 Arena for hours on end? Even though you could get one shotted by a rocket or a energy beam, it was still fun to run around and play because all weapons felt great.
Destiny 2 PVP has something missing when it comes to weapon play but I can’t explain what it is.
Anyway I LOVE Destiny 2 and would like to see it grow.
Also matchmaking for dungeons and raids would be great. I’m having trouble finding a clan that I can enjoy raiding content with.
Thanks, y’all have a great firefight out there!

Part 2: So, I completed my first raid today aaaand I have to say that I really enjoy this game. However... After a week of play and skipping through questing and only completing the Shadowkeep Campaign (Because I needed POH unlocked for an exotic).... and completing my Soltice Armor Set and upgrades... I have to say that I don’t feel very rewarded. I raided and got 3 marks near exact and an energy weapon that were all below my current 1050 power in my armor and weapons. Then my clan explained how the raids that I run will just be dropping raid exclusive exotic weapons, mods and that to get my power level armor If have to run the latest Garden of Salvation. Now, I could make 2 alts like everyone else to continue to feel that rewarding feeling or I could focus on Crucible for Pinnacle armor.... but Crucible PVP just isn’t for me right now with the game play I enjoy. What I can say is I feel very rewarded because during my week of Strikes and Gambit running yo get at my current level I do have 13 exotic weapons and 4 exotic armors.... all in which I can continue to swap around and feel like I’m playing differently each time. And true I could go for raid armor just for looks and level that armor past my Soltice set But I feel like there is some kind of large MMO hole there that I’m not sure what would fill it. When it comes to MMOs, I’ve played World of Warcraft. So I’m used to leveling up, changing gear as I level and Dungeon run and finally by raiding.... I know Destiny 2 isn’t Warcraft but still I think this is the missing link for me. I’m used to Raiding and getting better gear and increasing in power level and going and going up and up. With Destiny I feel like I just skipped to the end game, got the easiest power armor I could get by grinding Soltice armor and now there’s just nothing for me until either the next expansion comes out or Gambit gets more modes and more pinnacle gear. Finally what I can say after looking back at the chaoticness of my feelings with this game and post is... Destiny 2 still offers so many different ways that a person can play and enjoy the game and I love it. I however do think that Crucible PVP has too many Pinnacle drops versus Gambit or Raiding and even Soltice armor pushed me into some PvP and that’s just not for me. What I would like to see is something that fills the hole I feel and I’m not sure if more armor, more modes, more exotics or more content lore ect would do it. Maybe as I continue to play I will find this hole filler that will make the game that much more fun to play. And finally finally: I don’t think Vaulting and Sunsetting will be the answer but it doesn’t feel like it will matter much since I self-vaulted 85 percent of the content just so I could be Max power level the fastest anyway... I would say that I’ll miss Gambit the way it is and I’ll miss my weapons that get sun setted though..... but on to new content I march anyway!

7 通の返信Well now that I’ve seen much feedback going either way I have to ask this next question after a statement. Yes, I’m a new player with that new toy feeling and I hope over time I will be able to continue to find positives even if something with the game doesn’t go my way. However for those that can’t believe I find positivity in the game or for those that think the games fun has worn off over the years, my question is this. Why do you have a negative attitude about a game that has so many positives? Here’s a bonus question. What happened to you that changed your attitude about the game?

I was like you back then 6 years ago when this game started. Unfortunately, Bungo is just milking this game for the next 3 years or so. Speculation is, Bungo might be working on another game called "Matter" and their focus and resources are divided. Enjoy the game since you are new. But some of us are exiting the game because we've seen it's going downhill from here. Enjoy!

I probably have over 2000 hours combined D1 and D2. Its just commitment, but once you push through it feels so good.

2 通の返信CozMcKilljoyにより編集済み: 8/24/2020 3:31:45 PMTruthfully this game is really fun. I’ve enjoyed my time with D2 and to a new player I’ll bet catching up on 3 years of content is a blast. Unfortunately the end game is poorly managed. It has you logging in each week to complete the same weekly challenges with the same mission and quest with objectives that are... just meant to feed that dopamine rush. Random rolled weapons as pinnacle rewards worth Oryx awful rolls keep the feed dripping and long laborious quest meant to keep their daily numbers up. Some people like that, I don’t and I realized a week ago that I told my wife I had to log in and get my Solstice Armor done and I dreaded doing it. It was like one of those Erika moments when logging on to play a video game felt like going to work. So I played GoT instead and enjoyed the beautifully crafted world and fight Mongols. Lost myself in it and played until 2 in the morning. My point is, be careful with this game. It is fun, great combat loop, an incredibly crafted world, it’s just fun, but it is built with something beyond investment. It is built like a coin machine in Vegas. Designed to keep you coming back and giving you emptiness in return.

1 返信Glad you are enjoying it! Don’t listen to the people in the comments, will you? The forums aren’t a great place to go if you actually like the game, everyone here will burn you at the stake for that. If you enjoy the game, keep enjoying it, don’t let them stop you, you hear? :3
