We pay for a software license to play the game with the agreed acknowledgement of the terms of service. Key words there are "agreed" and "service". You must agree to their terms in order to play. And they provide a form of entertainment service. It's never our property aside from a hard copy disc, which even if we sold it to a third party they would in fact also have to agree to the terms of service in order to play. Gaming is an entertainment business first, if people are no longer entertained then it's up to them if they wish to continue buying the product. The money spent by the consumer is solely for entertainment of the consumer abiding by the terms of service rendered by the company providing it. Example: When you purchase a movie ticket for the purpose of being entertained, there is a real possibility that the movie may not be to your liking. But there is also an expectation by the particular theater that you will not cause a disturbance to others and follow safety guidelines while watching the movie. They have the right do to their terms to ask you to leave. Just like the terms of service for destiny, the developer has the right to change, modify or halt a particular service or item for whatever reason they see fit for the health of the game. TLDR they don’t owe you anything tough luck

You at no point in time own any content. You do not own the right to have permanent access to the Raid, Nightfall, PvP, or any other part of the game.

2 通の返信When’s the last time you did something that’s being vaulted for fun instead of completing a quest/bounty? For me it was pre-shadowkeep. I ran 100 people through outbreak perfected. Since then the only time I’ve ever done the old content was to complete a bounty or quest step. The reality is most people are in that same boat. People weren’t running forges except to ark farm, people weren’t doing menagerie or Escalation protocol. Luke Smith gave us the numbers. Last season planets like Mars were only used by .3% of the population. That’s like 3000 people. That means 997,000 didn’t go there. Sounds like a waste of space to me, and I highly doubt the other content being vaulted had a much higher population.
