2 通の返信When I had to do 10 games of gambit on my first armor set , when I was done I wanted to run out into the street and let a bus run me over It was that painful , I don’t mind a couple games here and there , but 10 almost broke me

2 通の返信Hands down an easy activity made hard by the people playing it. Gambit has gotten dumb and simple. It needs changes that are coming. Mandatory? Nah mate. It's a choice for the solstice armour. You want that armor glow go get it. Gambit flat out was the easiest requirement to get.

2 通の返信The only issue I have with Gambit is the damage variance that occurs game to game. Some games I melt everything, including Invaders and others it’s the exact opposite. This is why I don’t enjoy playing Gambit. You’re either a Tank or a Turnip.

FallenGaltierにより編集済み: 8/21/2020 8:04:59 PMThere's nothing wrong with Gambit any more than there is PVP or PVE There's issues throughout the game with all modes and people that do not like a game mode. So let's just Sunset the whole game of destiny 2. Take the few improvements that came with Destiny 2 update them into Destiny 1 and add what good content came with D2 to Destiny 1 and proceed to play Destiny 1 the better game but slightly improved.

1 返信6 speedにより編集済み: 8/21/2020 1:48:24 PMThe only way I can tolerate gambit is playing an anti blocker/invader role, maleficence/scout/sword. I don't pick up motes unless I absolutely have to. I did four matches last night. That was about all I could tolerate.

7 通の返信No PvP mode should be mandatory, but again, if they don't force you to go there, those modes will be completely empty and PvP players will whine about not having any cannon fodder to feel powerful.

Its weird, i should enjoy gambit but i truly loathe it. Invasions are just too much of a double edged sword for me, on the one hand its really fun when you get a team wipe but on the other it feels horrible to have your team wiped. The fact that they get an overshield wall hacks and know exactly who has the most motes is pretty op. If i had to get rid of something it would be the information regarding motes, it seems like the most fair option really. I mean i hate the wall hacks but it would kinda suck invading and everyone just hides and you have to go play hide and seek for 30 secs. Youre in a 1v4 so the overshield is fair game, plus you get 1 banged by alot of stuff anyway. But removing the information atleast makes it harder for the invader to just b-line it for who ever has the most motes, they would have to rely on game sense to figure out who has the most motes.
as Gladd once said, 'SCREW GAMBIT STUPID GAMEMODE" x5
Mandatory for what exactly? For the culmination of contents that make SoH event possible? Man, I feel if there was a Seal, achievement or even a Triumph available for picking materials and dancing in the tower like a loon you’d be all over it But for now, you’re not special, play the content or take the L on the rewards and move on

But it ISN'T mandatory. It's required for top tier solstice armor, but that armor isn't required. It's just something you want. For that matter, you don't even have to play the game. You choose to. So no, NOTHING in this game is mandatory. Translation: suck it up and get over it or log off and don't log back on.

6 通の返信The idea of Gambit isn't bad. The mote banking, enemy waves, and primeval fights are pretty fun. It's just the incessant invasions, especially when you're already WAYYY behind is just frustrating and feels like griefing. There is no worse feeling in all of Destiny than losing motes to an invader, then their team banks and charges their portal, you get invaded again, either lose 15 seconds of progress hiding or lose more motes, then they summon their boss and because you have not banked alot of motes, your portal isnt charged and you cant stop halt them or heal their primeval. The PvP aspect of Gambit needs to be toned down a bit, the motes glitching through the floor needs to be fixed, the 5 mote blockers are unnecessary and can be removed, and the 15 mote blockers should be stronger or atleast more annoying. There should be an invading limit before the boss spawns. I don't mind getting slapped while my primeval is up so atleast let me get there so it feels like I'm actually making progress and competing. Otherwise, Gambit can be demoralizing.

1 返信Davie4により編集済み: 8/20/2020 1:46:42 PMTrials is far worse than gambit, but either way bungie still is going to throw quests and objectives to get people in there. Gambit is cake provided people use proper burst damage equipment, but many people tend to run things like snipers and truth in it with have lower damage output. Bungie has nerfed hell out of snipers since D1 such that damage output is outstripped by shotguns and other close range options and makes it such that if you can use a close range option you should do so because even if you die 3-4 times your damage output is still higher than the play it safe approach. Most common ways to lose at gambit: 1. People running low damage specials and shooting blockers with primaries which means they are spending exponentially more time not collecting motes or getting murdered by invader motes in hand. 2. People trying to get greedy with motes and then dying because of it and usually this directly correlates to previous problem where they are both greedy and take more than a few seconds to wipe out 2-3 blockers. 3. People who don’t pick up motes and watch as massive groups of them de-spawn. 4. People who ignore witches when boss spawns and start wasting special/heavy on boss up front. 5. Being “that guy” who won’t deposit the motes despite drifter saying “you have enough motes to summon primeval.” Don’t try to grab 5 more motes unless they are on ground on your way to deposit point at this point because it can easily cost you the game. Invaders aren’t that much of a threat if you can melt boss in span of time between invasions, which is very easy to do with falling guillotine/jotunn as primary dps options. Invaders only really become a major problem in 2 main situations and one is when you run into problem 1 and 2 at same time and people start tossing down 30 motes at once. Most teams aren’t coordinated to point they summon 3-4 blockers at same time then invade immediately after. They can also be an issue if your team is using low burst damage guns on the boss like mainly using primary or somehow being out of special/heavy/super when boss drops.
