Yeah that’s why I suggested like half as much as you spend in silver around 600. It kinda just seems like a curtesy to the consumer so it’s like I bought silver and got these rewards as well. Free Pass people could get silver up to rank 50 maybe like 400? Over time they could decide whether they want to buy a pass. Also that way it takes 2 seasons for pass owners to get a “free” season in 2 seasons and free pass get one in 3 seasons

CoD is owned by few very successful gaming companies. Destiny is owned by one gaming company. What is the difference here? 1 game doesn't need to worry about money. 1 game has to worry about money. Just because one game gives more in-game currency in their bp than what the bp costs entirely doesn't mean the other game should too. They are entirely different when it comes to how much money they receive. When you go by that logic if bungie started doing that they would entirely start to lose money cause they don't receive any of it back through anything else. People would just rebuy the next season pass from free currency and the loop would continue and you'd never have to pay $10 for bp ever again cause you gained more currency than what the bp is worth.

Cod has a $60 game released annually, that's made by 2 different dev studios who alternate development and they're funded by Activision. And have been doing this for years. They can afford to take a small loss on premium currency. Bungie does not have that luxury
