Respect Time Invested
Respect time invested. Time invested in something = Time spent. Time has value/costs. The old adage is Time is Money. Gaming Companies need to reward their returning/loyal customers, their time matters. The older you get the more your time matters to you(that's who really counts). D1 armour sets becoming obsolete really rubbed me the wrong way. Haven't done a D2 Raid yet. All Armours earned should be ornaments. We sould be allowed to use whatever combination of esthetics we please and for however long we like gazing at its splendor.
Just a quick easy analogy/reference.

[/quote] playing this game is not a job. stop acting like you should be compensated. if you aren't enjoying this game, its time to move on. people need to accept this game is changing, and it isn't going to be for everyone anymore. Bungie is making the game they originally wanted to. if you don't like the direction its going, accept its time to move on. they aren't going to change the direction of the game again for you.

2 通の返信I mean, I agree with you, but it's been this way for a while with Destiny so if you don't feel like your time is respected, don't play. By playing, you are agreeing to their reward system and the level of respect or disrespect they give to your time (which levels have been established).

When you are in the hamster wheel, it is more difficult to see the lack of respect for your time as you grind and repeat the same events over and over and earn the same gear over and over.

1 返信Why do people keep forgetting that Bungie is a company that loves spoon feeding their player base lies? Remember when Luke Smith said he wanted players to be able to continue to go forward with their favorite gear? Will guess what here comes sun setting! The Exo Stranger’s story was finished in a comic, but guess who’s coming in November! Also don’t forget the famous Bungie quote “...making content is hard.”

Couldn’t agree more, I have 1000+ hours in destiny (both 1 and 2) and I JUST got all masterworked gear and it took me more nightfalls then I can count to get that Bungie needs to make the loot pool more appealing and focus more on the cool free stuff than the niche overhyped everstore stuff

1 返信If you respect your own time, then just give up playing this absolute hamster wheel of a game. It’s honestly so much better when you let go of it. I just come back to the comments to see if anything change but nope, it never does. People are always just waiting on the next expansion which is ‘definitely going to fix it all’. It never will be fixed. It will continue like this until the game eventually stops and then everyone will realise how many hundreds of hours of their only ever life they’ve wasted in this virtual insanity. Take the blue pill, see this game for what it is.

4 通の返信My five biggest problems with Destiny 2: 1. Too much maintenance 2. This game doesn't respect my time 3. Too much junk loot. 4. Lack of tools 5. Poor rewards for the Crucible

Yeah but business is also business. Bungie simply can’t get back to what they once were, so they milk the market segment that has no alternative. As much as I hate it, I believe this is the most appropriate corporate decision to exploit this franchise. Remember that bungie generates 4 to 5 times more on eververse and their online store than they do in game sales. For a game that costs 70euros/year, that’s a lot. They would need 8 to 10 times more players for this game to become what we want. The bet is way to risky, and their new board member wants mobile games so they will not support such direction.

Their meaning of respect time invest is basically, make small repeated, reskin content that has a massive grind to it, with reskin rewards but the 1 cool thing goes to everpurse . All jokes aside I think that comment by now is gone put the window to be honest. Their meaning of it is basically you grind your butts off, to get the weapon/gear then that's it. After that theyll recycle everything and hand it to you again to repeat all that work. Then you know what? Repeat that as well till player base shrinks.

I'll tell you what I've gotten from my time investment in Destiny: Skill, satisfaction, friends all around the world, memories, entertainment, in game materials and currency, Exotics that won't be sunset. I could go on but that's already more than any other game has given me soooooo yeah.
