The reason why I suggest this is because it's a high-competitive monthly PvP event much like Trials.

Nah it shouldn’t be in 6’s at all. I would personally like it to be put back into rumble since the rumble lobbies are boring as shit now since it’s a race with another player to farm the entire lobby faster which gets very repetitive very quickly.

17 通の返信Franticにより編集済み: 8/10/2020 6:10:01 PMNo. To people that havent actually played under the worst of sbmm, they dont know how bad it is. It is laggy, has long queue times, and is just not fun to play at all. Why punish those who actually play pvp? Also, trials doesnt have sbmm

It's nothing like Trials lol. It's a community wide event that gives you Banner specific loot even if you lose every match. You must win in trials to get the gear to drop at the end of matches, very clear difference. CBMM is best for Banner. The matchmaking itself could be much better by never pitting a team of six against an entire team of solo players, rewards could drop more and tokens should be doubled from what they drop at now, but CBMM is best for the game mode.

Chunkにより編集済み: 8/10/2020 6:57:30 PMIron Banner would be better if it were forced 6v6 and Cbmm. Oh wait it is, your just not in voice chat with your other teammates like the other team is. You could easily fix that by entering fireteam chat.

Your premise is incorrect. Iron Banner is not a highly competitive event. Iron Banner has always been a casual event intended to get more players PVE into PVP. Take the Iron Banner bounties for example. These are the easiest Pinnacle rewards to obtain for casual players. This creates a massive incentive for people to play Iron Banner.

42 通の返信illzにより編集済み: 8/9/2020 6:16:44 PMFor starters, trials does not have sbmm. Second ib is not competitive in nature but it is endgame pvp and always has been. Even in d1. Get ya light level up and the best man wins. I noticed you had 20 games of pvp in the last 9 days and wants to dictate matchmaking. Always the players who hardly play pvp who want to change it for those that do. Your 2 games per day may be marginally easier (doubt it looking at your spreads) yet people who play 40 games per day would have to suffer 7minute queues with no bullet reg. If people want a better experience in crucible they simply have to play it a giga ton and work on positioning. It is that simple. Sbmm/cbmm wont make a difference to bad players because they lack fundamental skills to ever improve. They arent invested enough to charter the rough learning curve that can take months and even years. Understand, good players prefer playing good players but due to p2p it is the worst experience in gaming today. Its time for a lot of people to just be realistic and understand that if you dont enjoy pvp and dont invest time then you wont be good thus you will have to suffer deaths and losses. They dont mean anything anyway. Get ya gear and bounce. Why come to the forum and spend hours crying to be shielded from better players? You want to play people who also dont share an interest in the crucible? Who only play 2 matches a day? Why? If you dont care enough to commit to improving then why change how crucible works? You just cant expect real life humans to react like dregs in the edz without a lot of graft. Took me 4 years to become competent and this last year ive noticed a big improvement moving to pc and having a wider fov and better control thanks to mnk. I have 40,000+ pvp kills this season already and i play a ton every day. If the game reverts back to sbmm, people like me who have played for years and were just like you but committed thousands of hours to become better then get thrown into a pool of around 1000 people on pc and in that bracket a huge % of them are cheaters as cited by bungie. Our queue times go upto 7-8 mins minimum some days and bullets dont register. You dont want to learn how to improve, you hardly play pvp but you advocate people who spent thousands of hours to become better to a hellhole. When i was bad, i did not come crying to the forums asking bungie to block all better players than me. That concept is so foreign, i just cant comprehend what you guys are saying. On top of that, cbmm- objectively is truly better for even average players, top 0.1% are rare af and nobody improves playing the same skilled players. I can assure you. Bad players do not punish mistakes. I hope this makes things clearer for people who rarely play pvp and champion sbmm. I just want the game to be lag free and stable, i dont care who i play but unfortunately sbmm and p2p does not offer this in d2. People who say theyre getting stomped by sweats, arent. They are getting beat by average players. Sweats are rare. Sweats usually stick to playing sweats. Sweats dont like stacking because fighting over kills becomes the game and that is boring. Peace

4 通の返信WulfPak666により編集済み: 8/9/2020 5:30:53 PMSo people complained when IB was SBMM now they complain that it's CBMM how about we just get Dedicated Server Based Matchmaking so my bullets actually hit people when I shoot them and I stop being killed around walls. Enable DSBMM to the entire game and call it a day.

I think the better statement is that people need to have some common sense when it comes to playing pvp, such as capture the zones as much as you try for kills, try to focus down targets and supers, and, oh yeah, DON’T CAP B ON BURNOUT
The reason why I suggest this is because it's a high-competitive monthly PvP event much like Trials.
Bots mindlessly trying to cap enemy flag while the whole enemy team is there isn’t competitive. It’s poor game play

1 返信This is the first time I might not get all the bounties done. The new matchmaking requires a much bigger time investment for scrubs like me, and I play a lot. Dumb. It would be REALLY COOL if Bungie would say to themselves, “what would be fun for the avg. players?” This game could be so much more.

Did you ever play laggy banner? Back in d1 and at the beginning of d2? That’s also not just a name I came up with that was what it was genuinely known as throughout the community, now this was down to multiple reasons but one biggie was sbmm. I honestly think sbmm as an idea is amazing, but destiny’s servers and net code can’t support it so it’s best to keep it out of thigg big s like 6v6, coz it makes it absolute lag central and chaos enjoyable for no one.
