Bungie I'm fed up
I took a break from destiny because of the grind. Put my time into other things besides D2. I come back of course I know its a grind to get to the power cap, but for the life of me, three pinnacle gauntlets in a row. How in the -blam!- am I supposed to play this game when this shit keeps happening. Seriously hours on end playing this shit, fed up, fix this ..... Its been said a million times over. Don't make the grind worthless, or the game is not worth playing.....

The game is rigged mainly to waste the player's time playing so they can show numbers instead of creating a game where the players want to spend that time playing. It's actually sad how the forced play that has taken over this game deliberately rigging things like the "RNG" knowing they can easily adjust the drop rates and adjust the number of duplicates. They have adjusted the RNG in this game before so for anyone to say otherwise would be BS.

4 通の返信Everything you’re reading below is true. They don’t want you to reach those objectives quickly, so the RNG sucks. Like, frankly, a lot of aspects of this game atm. I decided to make myself most heard by not playing anymore. Nor will I be spending any money on future anything until it looks like they have their head back on straight. And frankly I’m this close to no longer advocating for change on these forums and washing my hands with it [i]all[/i] unless Bungie acknowledges they’re making some dunderheaded business decisions lately. I’m not holding my breath though.

We want to rank up as efficiently as possible and they want us to waste our time. I can’t defend you bungo you’ve lost your way.

Made the decision to only run one character after getting all 3 to 1050. Did that until this weeks iron banner. It’s 4 pinnacle rewards. Why not run all 3 through. Only armor would help my 2nd character. Got 2 scouts, and 2 chest pieces. Turned in a prime and got a hand cannon. Turned in 4 dark engrams. Got 4 more chest pieces. My 3rd character is still collecting dust.

9 通の返信it would be so easy to drop a pinnacle we did not have. it would still take 10 weeks to hard cap. so what if we play the last two weeks of a season , which is the most boring time to play having max cap before the levels shoot up another 60 making our gear useless again. And the really good thing Bungie is that you would have a whole bunch of happy people , satisfied customers, instead of the deep hatred and frustration i see posted here.

150 通の返信I’m so tired of explaining this but here we go again. You’re not doing raids or iron banner. That’s why. That’s 4 +2 pinnacles from the GoS raid and 4 +2 pinnacles from IB per character. So you’re missing 8 +2 drops per character or 24 +2 drops total. And that’s just this week. You’re still missing 4 per character each week you don’t run the raid. That’s also not to mention that it seems like you’re not running prophecy either, which is another +2 you’re missing out on 3x a week.

4 通の返信You’re gonna get random rewards every time you get a pinnacle drop. Sometimes you just get -blam!-ed. It’s part of the game, and will always be part of the game. You have to grind for hours, and it’s never gonna be casual.

1 返信I stopped playing this week. Honestly I dont have FOMO, its kinda nice. Ive been playing smaller games like Battlechasers, Senuas sacrifice, and World War Z. Random stuff on gamepass, and its so refreshing.

I mean grind pinnacles? It takes roughly, at max lime 6 or 7 hours to get them all. Thats being pretty generous considering me and a buddy 2 man ours. Even master content and dungeons. So splitting that up its gonna take half a week to roll the dice. The other half can goto any other game, or moviea or books or family time. Everyone's in such a hurry to grind max power level so they can what? Then take a break? Do the same content you're doing now? The entire point of this system to is not put an emphasis on grinding power, but loot instead. I feel like just reacting out of emotion rather than just taking a step back and being a goddamn adult about this. You're not getting anything but more loot past a 6 hour mark, weekly.
