You do realise that the more people that are involved in trials the more watered down the skill in the player pool gets? So you’re less likely to be playing people in top 5%. That weekends trials will be the best one so far I bet. Stop being a baby n thinking with emotion. How about try some of that logic for once? I don’t blame you though. Lack of teaching of critical thinking at school anymore is to blame. It’s ok schnookums, please don’t cry 😢

You're not wrong, however some people simply don't want to play PvP. I personally don't want to or care to play PvP that often, I DEFINITELY avoid competitive PvP. There are people out here who hate PvP so much they won't touch Crucible at all. Let people be the way they are. You have a point about Trials being watered down that weekend, and I agree with you, but talking down to someone won't persuade them very effectively, ya know?
-
I get you. I have friends that don’t play pvp at all. I wasn’t talking to just that one guy in my reply. It was a general response to the people that at cry about it. As I say ‘each to their own’. But whinging before it actually happens is whinging for the sake of it. The guy’s probably never been in trials so wouldn’t know what it’s like. Fingers crossed it will increase the player pool as every week that passes is a week further from flawless (I’d say I’m average player/slightly below) I enjoy the challenge and the learning part of it. But to give up before trying?
-
i agree shouldnt push trials on ppl. why isnt there a raid requirement? Ill tell you why, because ppl play those. You are right it will be heavily populated...but i bet you the rewards that week will be shit (atleast the 3 win reward). Im sorry but trials in uts current state is straight dookie.

I agree. Although, most people that say trials is doody, aren’t very good players, or not even tried it. I’ve been in trials most weekends, not got past 5 wins. Doesn’t mean its do-do. Console trials has actually been good, fun even. From what I see PC trials are where the problems are at
-
im average maybr slighly better than average. the problem is the 1percenters that think theyre gate keepers. trying to protect the lighthouse from the average player. trials would be 1000 percent more enjoyable for the mass population if after you went flawless you'd be put into a different pool of players. But then the gate keepers wouldnt get easy wins, it would be more competitive for them

Lack of teaching critical thinking hurting people is such an ironic thing to point out. How about Bungie’s lack of critical thinking? They plug the armour glow ornaments and want people to spend silver on it, yet lock it behind a game mode that is detested by a large portion of the population. A bit of cutting off their nose to spite their face due to a lack of critical thinking.
-
You’re asking me about Bungie’s critical thinking? I’m not an employee of bungie for so can’t speak for them. I’m certainly not a fan of them anymore. But not thinking emotionally (people that are scared of trials and endgame) it’s a good thing to try and get people to enjoy some thing they’ve not done before. Also. I play on console so cheaters are not a problem at all. I get your point tho. I hate what bungie have done to this game. I’m not an advocate for them at all. Just thinking people should challenge their own soft feelings. Each to their own

I’m sure their motivation is to try to get people to play trials. It’s just misplaced. What they (and you in your replies on this thread) seem to forget is that trials has been in the game for most of its 6 year existence. The only people that don’t know what the experience is are new lights who either just picked up the game this season, or have didn’t try it this or last season AND have had their head in the sand. Many have tried it in one of its iterations and know where they stand on its existence. Personally, I have no intention of getting the title or the armour. Which means Bungie doesn’t get my money. Their choice. I’m not stupid enough to invest my money in a pyramid scheme in life, I’m not gonna invest my time in one in a video game.
